The facility was obviously amid some renovations but it was still clean.
Regular rooms can be made wheelchair friendlier with just a few changes. And should be! The bathrooms in particular are a safety nightmare to someone for whom a handicapped room was not available. Please do better.

The location was easy to find and the room was clean. I had such an off putting experience with the Pet Policy at check-in it was too easy to find fault with things that I might have excepted otherwise. It was away from the main road and an easy walk to the Outback Restaurant as well as a few other fast-food restaurants. There was a shopping mall across the busy main road.
The lack of transparency in regard to their Pet Policy was awful. I always make a Special Request to note that we travel with our 10 lb. Yorkie and the only acknowledgement was of our check-in time. The clerk was surprised we had a dog and told us there was a "high charge for pets". My husband had me come in to find out it was $75.00. That is the most we have ever been charged for a pet and I think it is excessive. The rooms had several areas of damage to wall paper and furniture and the breakfast buffet was slim and poorly stocked. I had to ask for butter, napkins and a spoon!

Location
The room was terrible. Peeling wallpaper in bathroom, broken tiles. Not worth the price. I was also charged incidentals PER NIGHT which I have never been charged per night for a hotel like this.

The room was large and set up very comfortably
The tv could have been larger and the shower head was terrible, only a steam of water coming out the center. I did inform the front desk at check out so hopefully it gets charged

The room itself was very clean and comfortable
I stayed during the winter months and my heat did not work in my room. the room was extremely cold and due to no other rooms available, I had to stay there

Was traveling with my son and his therapy animal and everyone with the Hampton Inn was outstanding. Excellent customer service, excellent communications and really great employees you have there, in Rodrena and Olivia, who were at the front desk. In today's world of rude employees and non-existent customer service, you are lucky to have them.

Location was good ,was able too get to my destination in good timing
The Gym was small,only thing in there was treadmill. Didn't really enjoy the breakfast ,use my credit card to buy a water and they charge me for two .

My first time in SC and it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was especially welcoming and the facilities were sparkling.
I wish I had access to a washer and dryer, I honestly didn’t see any if there were.

I cleanly said i am traveling with someone is about 72 years and other one is below 11 year old and provides me comfortable beds. but there was only one bed for 5 people. we leave early at 5 am

More attention need to be made to service to HVAC filters. The bed in our room did not need to be fixed it needed to be replaced along with the pillows. The toilet needed to be service for better flushing. If we had stayed longer we would have requested another room or management.

The toilet would not flush. The pillows were horrible, and the room was molded. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again

I liked the surrounding area.
1.One staff member said one thing and another staff member said something different regarding the incidentals.
2. Cost was supposed to include breakfast, but Thursday morning there was nothing, and guests were not informed. I was told (because I asked) that it was an electrical issue in the kitchen. They did offer points/cash for inconvenience. Front desk staff (Chenetta) was very pleasant and helpful.
3. The outlets in the room didn't work.
4. It should not be rated an 8.8. Maybe a 7.

the cost for the room : we was in 205 and it smell like something was dead .!!!!!!! it was late getting here could not change rooms . white powdery stuff next to wall /bed and the carpet is very bad : the smell of this room makes us sick . I took pictures how bad it was .

It was ok, eggs and sausage were frozen but it was fine. Bacon would have been nice
the sheets and covers were terrible, Very thin cover and sheets were not soft
