Comfortable and homely stay. Amenities were excellent and the rooms were the perfect size for a two couple group or young family.

Beautiful setup , very private and peaceful with a beautiful view over vineyards and fruit orchards. Very tidy, clean and comfortable and the spa was nice and warm. Easy drive to get to Gisborne town and Eastwood hill park. We had a very relaxing time as a couple but the whole set up is as well ideal for a family.

Location is not too far out so you can still access the city and be far enough out to explore the country side. Its peaceful and calm and the atmosphere is cozy. Love the little cabins and igloo everything is only close to if it is raining you don't get soaked.

It was wet when we stayed. Wish I we were able to use the outside area more when it stopped. Would have loved to have an outdoor heater or something of the sort.

A very unique, comfortable and fun stay. The little main house was very well appointed and after the peak of the sun before 10am, it was cool and breezy all day. The location is close enough to Gizzy but remote enough for a private retreat, and the elevated view is wonderful. We loved sleeping in the pod as it was so comfortable and allowed us to see the first sunrise in the world on that day. We are a family of 4 and it was one of our favourite stays in NZ, highly recommended.

It was not included in the listing, so we knew, but not having washing facilities when travelling as a family is tricky as we need to wash every second day.
