From the very beginning I had issues communicating with the owner. I contacted VBRO to make them aware of the issue. I threatened to cancel several times because of it. I read a review from another renter and explained to the owner that I didn’t want to repeat the same issue. Our concert was canceled so only 2 of the 9 members of our group showed up. Upon arrival they were calling, I was calling and texting no response from Danielle (the entire time a crack deal is taking place across the street in one of the row of abandoned homes). Pool that hasn’t been built to date but comes up when you list amenities does have a great location when it’s finished. Danielle needs to either hire a property manager or stop renting out the property.

Not recommended if you don't wanna show up to the house without the place to stay. The communication from the Host is very bad and very dishonor.

Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed with the first appearance of the property and felt deceived by the outdated images shown on Vrbo. Nearly every wall, ceiling, and floor was damaged. General cleanliness of the place lacked. Beds may have been made, but not clean (hair on all the sheets). Lights didn’t work in the master and some in the living room, doors were broken, and when management was informed they didn’t seem to care much. The surrounding area was unsafe (do not bring a family here). Windows were missing blinds so neighboring run down apartment buildings were able to look into the property, very uncomfortable feeling. Management when prompted gave check in instructions, but failed to provide check out instructions. I would not recommend this property and even though the price is good, it is not worth it.

This weekend we celebrated

Host severely misrepresented the property & area as "luxury" & safe. It is fully surrounded by Bedford Pines Sec 8 housing & an abandoned boarded up business making it a prime spot for drug abusers, vagrants & prostitutes – all of which we experienced during our short 5 hour stay before leaving the property for safety reasons. It is NOT an area a VRBO should be. Period. We couldn’t open the gate w/out vagrants approaching us or screaming through the gate as we tried to enter the front door. Gunshots rang out literally right outside the property immediately followed by car alarms. After speaking to Atlanta PD, the officer who responded stated gunshots were common for this specific block of Boulevard NE & next time we booked to call them w/ the property address & they would advise us where NOT to stay. We found it dishonest that the host stated she had never had any reports of safety issues when this was not Atlanta PD's first trip to this property. Luxury properties are expected to have a basic element of safety. We reached out to VRBO when the gunshots rang out to advise them that we felt unsafe in this property. VRBO tried to reach the property owner, but the host remained unresponsive after 6 phone calls. We advised VRBO we were checking out of the property after only 5 hours due to these safety concerns. The host refused to cancel the booking or offer any refund stating we should have done our due diligence on the area once the address was provided after booking. Horrible

The house was great and as described. 8 of us were very comfortable! The gated from drive way felt secure and although it is on a busier street, it was quiet at night. The access to the back made for easy share-ride pick-ups and drop-offs.

I live in Snellville, GA & Cincinnati, OH. I got married on July 6th in Piedmont Park. While most of my guests stayed at the Starling Hotel in Midtown, I needed a bigger venue for my family to stay for 5 days(10 guests). The pictures and accommodations seemed aligned until I booked the property and saw it was in a horrible neighborhood that is partially redeveloped. There was a crack house next door that had several residents who used profanity and solicited us for drugs and sex. Several things didn't work: - The stove is digital and needs a code update so we couldn't get all the burners working simultaneously. - The washer required 3 cycles to get the soap out of the clothes and had a mildew smell. - TV's in 2 bedrooms didn't work. - The downstairs futon and carpet were infested with spiders, rolly pollies, and ants as there was a hole in the floor. The owners sent an exterminator and he also left spray and traps (really?) - The curtains were dirty and had spiders (host claimed the house sat for some time without guests). - The outside is clean in the gate, but trash is all in front of the house. The Host offered to send us an Instacart but never responded to my text. I spent a lot on groceries so we tried to use the air fryer, microwave, and George Forman grill (my family cooks so it wasn't optimal for 10 people). So we spent a load on doordash and eating out. I am horrified that my hotel guests had a glowing experience and yet my family was subjected to this.

The house was wonderful. It had lots of space for all of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well stocked with the necessities. Check-in was a bit difficult, especially in the evening. Communication with the host could have been better.
