Cette maison de vacances au charme incontestable à Kingsport vous offre une expérience inoubliable. Sautez dans votre voiture et parcourez le trajet de 3 minutes jusqu'à Kingsport Town Center Mall (centre commercial) ou de 5 minutes jusqu'à Cattails at Meadowview (et quand vous n'êtes pas sur les routes, profitez du parking mis à disposition par l'hébergement).
Cette location avec 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain compte également un salon, un coin salle à manger, un barbecue et la climatisation. Connectez-vous au Wi-Fi gratuit ou installez-vous confortablement devant la télévision connectée. The home was cozy and beautifully decorated. The check in process went smoothly. My only suggestion is to invest in better mattresses or maybe some memory foam toppers for the beds. The three of us ladies were all 50+ in age and our backs could've used a little more cushion. Also the beds set low and my 70 year old momma had a little difficulty getting into & out of the beds. Overall the experience was wonderful.

Though there was hypoallergenic lotion in the bathroom, the linens were very fragrant. The odor permeated the entire house and caused quite an allergic response for me. I had to create a mask for myself so I could sleep the first night. The smell did dissipate a bit more each day, but my arms and hands were red & itchy all week. Allergy medicine did help somewhat, but what a nuisance! The curtains in the bedrooms are very thin, so if you want to sleep in past daybreak, bring a sleep mask. I used a hand-towel over my eyes. The bathtub faucet is not properly attached to the wall. It was difficult to push/pull the knob to turn the shower on/off for fear of pulling the faucet off the wall. The toilet seat slides from side to side.
I did not contact the host with these issues during the week, but I think they can all be easily fixed. If/when they are, then this would be a great rental property. Everything was very clean. We didn't eat in the home, but it looked like everything you would expect in the kitchen was there.

We had an excellent stay! When we arrived at the home they were just finishing cleaning the home and the couple was very friendly and helpful. The entire house is newly updated, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The cleanliness was excellent, which is one of the most important things to me. Gregg, the owner, made himself available during our entire stay. I would highly recommend Sevier Cottage and would not hesitate to stay there again!!

This property was close to everything. It might be tucked down a neighborhood you wouldn’t expect but it was perfect. Just 5 minutes to downtown or 8 minutes to the convention center. It is the best place to stay if you are staying just for the weekend. I would stay here again!

This is a great little house that has been nicely remodeled. Very clean and tidy. The neighborhood is cute and felt very safe. I contacted the host once and he responded timely. I will definitely be staying again and recommend this rental to anyone.

This house was a home away from home. I traveled to TN to care for my sister after surgery & this place was perfect for that. I even with very short notice I asked to arrive a day early & Gregg was 100% accommodating even though was checking out same day that I was checking in. I am so grateful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this recently updated property. The home is small (about 750 sq. ft.) but has what you need for a comfortable stay. And it was clean.
The neighborhood is a mix of small houses. It was quiet in the evenings and we felt safe. It would be a long walk into Kingsport proper, but only a few minutes drive. There's also a Food City and other stores a few minutes drive in the other direction.
For light sleepers, you may want to bring earplugs - the train runs through town day and night and depending on the wind direction...... Having said that, we got used to the sounds within a couple of days (we stayed a week).
The heating is more than adequate (turn down before going to bed!) and the water pressure is excellent. We found the mattresses comfortable. There is enough kitchen equipment to make basic meals. The living room is small, but has seating for 4.
We did have to contact Gregg while we were there for a problem with the water. He responded immediately and the plumber came the same day to resolve the issue.
All in all, we recommend the house and location and felt it was a terrific value.
