The location was ideal for our needs. Due to a change in circumstances we booked at the last minute and were very pleased with our choice. We had been told where to park our car then go to the front door and ring the bell. Jack met us when we arrived and explained that breakfast was on a help yourself basis. Lots of choice, cereal, yoghurt, toast, fruit juices plus tea's and coffee. We were then taken to our room which was lovely, very clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilites, bottles of water and can's of carbonated drinks. Little touches that we haven't had in other B&B's or Hotels we have stayed in.

No cooked breakfast available but there was a good seletion of cereal, toast, yogurt and jam with plenty of tea and coffee. Lovely cottage about 2 miles from the center of York. Bus stop right outside. Very clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water.

Good location with a car park and easy enough to catch the bus into Centre of York. Jack and Ellie were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Comfortable room and decent self serve breakfast options available.
