The owner at reception, the delightful young cleaners, the grounds, closeness to the beach/ shop/ restaurants.

No English speaking tv channels, and internet hit and miss.

Welcoming people, clean room, nice outside balcony area.

Nearby beach not great, Much of Koh Samed seems to see tourists as cash cows. Make sure you go to Nuanthip Pier on the mainland for boat tickets. We got overcharged/ripped off at one next to it. Bad start.

Clean quiet friendly a short walk to beach and restaurants

In our view the best place to stay on the island if you like peace and quiet but within walking distance of a couple of restaurants and bars. The nearby (200m) beach is currently empty of sun loungers etc, but there is a new resort being developed there - Ao Noi Na beach so maybe not for too much longer Manager was great and helped us book scooter and ferry transfers No request was too much Air-con was super good Nice big space with good separate toilet and shower room Quiet fridge which made ice well

It’s like natural

The accomodation was simple, but flawless. The property seemes newly refurbished and everything was spotless. The staff couldnt have been more helpful, pleasant and kind. There are a number of nice local eateries and I didnt feel like anyone ever tried to take advantage of visitors.

The property was perfect but we chose the location to swim at the nearby beach, and it wasnt possible due to construction of a big new resort: the beach wasnt very clean and there was too much flotsam in the water to make it safe (although I have seen other beaches be full of flotsam one day, then spotless the next so maybe we just had bad luck with the tides during our visit).

The Staff

The “No Smoking” sign on the tree while we ate food outdoors from the Restaurant, was not being enforced. It eventually became necessary for me to ask to please enforce your “No smoking sign”.
