Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was beautiful and very spacious. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great and ate lunch in the bar, which was also great. Lovely outdoor area

This is a really lovely hotel, full of character and furnished beautifully. We found the bed one of the most comfortable we’ve had when staying in hotels. The staff were great - very courteous, friendly and helpful. We only spent one night here but will certainly aim to stay again when in the area.

Have stayed before and find the Crown very comfortable and welcoming. Rooms have what you want and breakfast is very good.

Looks nicer than it is, staff didn’t collect plates after we had finished food for well over an hour, we had to move them over selves in the end. Food is over priced but ok, but not great for what they are charging, should be better. No aircon rooms too hot, We did the brewery tour so made sense to stay here, but would not stay again nothing special and too expensive in my opinion.

Lovely overnight stay, service great, food lovely - extensive breakfast menu, spoilt for choice, we wanted to eat it all!
Good size room, which had everything we needed - not the greatest view, but can’t be helped if you’re at the back of the building. Parking was a bit of a pain, I had to drive around a few times, possibly because the exit barrier was raised which meant that parking was a free for all?
Staff friendly and engaging, would certainly stay again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Staff were really friendly and efficient and very dog friendly.
Our room was lovely , super comfy bed.
Breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed the outside seating area.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Blandford Forum. The Crown has attractive period features and our room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The breakfast was excellent.
There is ample onsite parking.

Stayed here for Teddy Rocks as we had stayed before for a wedding. Yet again friendly, competent staff, always helpful.

The food was good and the Guinness was very well kept.
The room was nicely done but could perhaps do with a refresh.
It was a shame that there was so much noise from 7am which woke us up

What a lovely change to stay in a place with character. The small touches in the room, tea pot, and tea cups, the old styled phone etc. unfortunately the bar was not open on a Saturday night at 12, not even for a bottle of wine to the room!

Very nice hotel and great staff. But i cant mark it any higher as the rooms have the worst sound insulation of anywhere I have ever stayed (at least in room 16). I could hear absolutely everything from the neighbouring room, even light conversation very clearly. I really hope this can be sorted as everything else was great!

The family room was incredible. Exceeded expectations and was extremely clean. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay for another night.

Stayed in a very comfortable triple room which had a totally separate, well appointed single room as well as a generous double.

This hotel is nice and grand looking but as it's only 3 star the accomondation is quite basic... but perfectly comforable. Blandford Forum, is a pretty little Dorset town, filled with Georgian Architecture and surrounded by lovely countryside. There are very few hotels in the area, so The Crown Hotel is a good choice.
