I booked this villa from November 8th to 13th for 11 people at a rate of 15k per night. I also confirmed the stay directly with the property management company via WhatsApp. They insisted on receiving the advance payment directly and bypassing Booking.com, which I refused. I had concerns that they might try to scam me after receiving the advance, so I told them I would pay the full amount of 80k upon arrival on the first day. The person I communicated with on WhatsApp confirmed that this arrangement was fine, and I had every reason to believe my booking was secure. Then, just one day before my trip, on November 7th, they suddenly called to say they would not accommodate us. This was completely unacceptable. I told them this was wrong and that I would be leaving a negative review about my experience. They responded dismissively, telling me to "do whatever I can do" and didn't seem to care at all. I also have screenshots of the WhatsApp conversations as proof of this poor treatment. Do NOT trust these people. They will leave you stranded if they get a higher-paying booking. Booking.com should seriously reconsider listing this property on their platform. Update - inside the review response, they falsely claimed that I had reduced the number of guests. I never made such a change – it was always 11 people.
