The Flat was very close to shops ect

Parking there is not a designated parking place we got a lot of agro trying to park being told we would get a parking ticket. The flat was disappointing not enough cutlery bath looked awful it had stains taps had been changed they should have done the same with the bath. Woken up with people dealing drugs in the stairs by the flat

Very central location

The parking was not available until 6pm, (we checked in a 3pm), so we had to go and pay for parking elsewhere and as we therefore were not confident of being able to safely park, and we were also worried about being boxed-in in the morning we paid for parking elsewhere (a 15min walk away) overnight. This should have been made clear at or prior to booking.

The property was fairly clean

The sofa bed was really uncomfortable and although there was another room upstairs, due to the troubles kicking off outside, the couple we were with were too scared to go to bed and stayed on the sofa bed. The bathroom was adequate but we couldn’t shower properly as you couldn’t move the shower head up. The entire pole pulled out and wasn’t secure properly. The sky light was also filthy. Where we collected the key from, there was empty wine bottles and rubbish everywhere and it smelt as though someone was using it as a toilet. There was ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING so please ignore this. We had to park in a spot that was private and spent the trip panicking that we were going to get clamped but the host didn’t respond to my message regarding this. Later on in the evening, when we were returning back to the apartment, the neighbour opened his door and started explaining how there was a person who hangs out in the stair way with a machete and likes to cause trouble and to be prepared for there to be some commotion that evening. At this point we were already quite concerned but again, when we tried to leave the host a voicemail we heard nothing back. Sure enough come 2:20am we woke up to a group kicking in a door and shouting and swearing and a dog barking. It was complete chaos and we were terrified they were going to get into the apartment. There’s no surprise there’s wired glass on the door and several bolts to lock. We all just wanted to go home but were too scared to leave. Safe to say, worst place I’ve ever stayed, completely false advertising with the parking and if I’d have known all this before I would never have considered it. You couldn’t even pay me to stay there again, let alone having to pay £150 for it.
