Beautiful garden surroundings with birdsong and other animals nearby which was a delight! Very thoughtful studio design with everything I needed. Kind and thoughtful hosts.

As the studio is at the back of the property, there was a little walk from the street to access. This wouldn’t put me off staying there again, or recommending to others. However, anyone with mobility issues would be best to avoid .

Charming setting in a beautiful restful garden, with plenty of outdoor seating. Access to family's large swimming pool and spa. The studio is compact but cleverly arranged to make best use of the available space. Tony was a friendly and extremely helpful host. We loved the little extra touches - a cunning arrangement for hanging clothes; an umbrella (potentially useful) secured to the wall with a ring; fresh fruit in the room; a delicate flower arrangement on the table; two pieces of home baking in the fridge. Breakfast involved a quality fruit-filled muesli, yoghurt, toast and variety of toppings - with coffee (there is a Nespresso machine) and tea. All very acceptable. The location is peacefully rural - on the edge of the city, but with easy accessibility to its heart.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't fault the property or hosts.

The accommodation was excellent with everything we needed. The garden and surroundings were beautiful and the hosts were very attentive, kind and friendly and offered help at any time. The breakfast was excellent and they provided us with decaf coffee which was lovely. We loved our stay.

Amazing breakfast, location and far exceeded our expectations with cleanliness and comfort. Great pool to use, spa and BBQ, amazing trees and gardens. Felt like a true getaway from the hustle and bustle of Auckland x

Nothing could have been better. Everything was perfect.

We loved the location, garden, birds, swing in the big tree, outdoor couch on the deck and the generosity of our hosts to allow us to use their pool, spa and barbeque and even help us carry our luggage in!

Nothing! For me it was a little slice of Heaven!

Breakfast was excellant and plentiful. The home made slice was an extra bonus to go with a hot drink in the evening.
