Stayed here for two nights. And it met all my needs. Bed was super comfy and the room was cleaned to a high standard. There's only three things that would have made it better.
1) The shower didn't produce and hot water.
2) The Hairdryer didn't work.
3) The club music from other venues could be heard so clearly on a Saturday night until 2am, but I understant that can't be changed and didn't entierly put me off.

Just a one night stop over in the city. Hotel next to railway station so a good location.
Generally very clean but parts of room whilst clean were a little tired. Ie bathroom could do with an upgrade, windows could be improved.
My friends had breakfast and thought it was excellent but I don’t eat breakfast. I would certainly return if in the area.

Carpet in our room was moth eaten. Saw one moth flying. Shower was broken. We reported it the first night. Person on duty did not offer to move us to another room or apologize. The person on duty when we checked out was much nicer and assured us it would be addressed that day. Breakfast buffet was good. Location is perfect. Just steps from the train station

Hotel was good, got checked in slightly early, room was nice, as was bar.
2 bad things, the noise of bottles getting emptied the next morning from pub behind us, and the shower would not get hotter than lukewarm.

Overall a very good, cost efficient busitrip, looked after by very good staff.
The only negative was my room faced out over to a very busy service alley with kitchen staff moving wheelie bins over pavement/ cobbles at the startof the shift- woken at 6am every morningof my stay= not good.. but id still use the hotel again, hopefully on the quiet side of the hotel.

Hotel well positioned for the station. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, a pity they don't do evening meals but the lady on reception said this might be in the pipeline which would be nice as the bar and restaurant very pleasant. Good value one night stay.

Left cases before check in to allow us to go a walk etc, smooth check in, room adequate for what we required, staff friendly, good night sleep in a comfy bed 👌👌
Asked for some flowers and chocolates to be arranged for our anniversary this was done no problem at all good added wee extra

The room was a good size and was very functional, although I couldn't get the shower to run hot water, but the bath would, so a bath it was. A little bit noisey but not bad. Bed was a bit hard. Great location.

Really clean and ideally located at the railway station. Clean and comfortable bed with lots near by offering food and drink. Ideal hotel for an overnight stay in Carlisle. I’d definitely stay here again as it offers good value for money.

I paid for an Executive room 114 I did not know there was a connecting room which resulting in hearing everything from room 113, when I say everything I mean everything. Certainly not the gentleman’s fault but he was up several times in the early hours going out for a cigarette, this included a constant cough, I even got the same 6.30 am wake up call from reception, lovely hotel and staff but sadly the worst nights sleep wish I had just gone for a standard room maybe would have been different

Convenient for travel and getting around. Stayed here before. Faulty power sockets that I reported to Reception. Staff always friendly and helpful.

I had recently arrived and went to shop , forgot to take room key and when asked the man at reception if he could tell me what my room number was his reply was ‘no’, I found this extremely rude and not helpful at all.

Decent place for a stop over, right next to railway station. Plenty of food options and shopping area is literally 5 mins walk. Sleep quality is okay, bathroom small and manageable, did not try the food. Easy check-in, checkout. No air-conditioning as it is supposed to be cold all the time but unfortunately felt the heat during the stay.

It was a wonderful hotel but my gripe is that after 9 o’clock in the evening there is nowhere around serving food.I found out from reception when I was leaving that you can order out and have food delivered to the bar. This would have saved me having to dodge drunks when I went to a chip shop and was slobbered over. Everything to do with the hotel itself was fine

Could not shut window because a screw had been put in at the base of sash. It was permanently open by about three inches and could not be closed. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not switch off always and on two occasions was running all night. I did bring it to there attention but it was not permanently cured and was still running when I left. Staff service apart from this was good breakfast was excellent but I would never stay there again.

Unfortunately the hotel is in need of a major update. The rooms were clean but walls were damp.

Right next to the station handy for the city centre plenty of eating facilities nearby and very lively in the evening nice bar and friendly staff would definitely stay there again
