We were staying at the hotel for a wedding; due to creamfields being on in the area we paid well over the usual price, which was fine and convenient for us. On arrival we decided it would be a good idea to extend our room for a late check out, I paid the extra cost and the person on reception confirmed this was added to the booking. We had a wonderful time at the wedding and were looking forwards to a late lie in bed only to be knocked up at 10.55 and the room entered by the cleaner, I told her I had a late check out and she apologised and advised there is nothing on the booking, I told her I had paid the extra and it was all confirmed and I won’t be leaving until that time, she said again she had not been informed and apologised, by this time my partner was now awake we are both in bed and I’m trying to explain this whilst clutching the covers to protect my modesty. Housekeeping then thankfully closed the door. On checking out around 12.30 we advised the receptionist, she apologised and said this was clearly stated on the booking, we were offered coffee on leaving but we were going for breakfast so didn’t want one but were advised someone would call us, unfortunately this never happened.

Business trip for one evening. Only gripe is that hotel guests should get to use gym as part of their stay with no additional cost.

We stayed in room 322, it’s in a very poor condition, carpet leading to the bathroom is absolutely slithy and unacceptable, the paint around the window is peeling very poor condition, had to use a towel to sit on the chair and it is stained with food.

We had a family room with two double beds which was great with a child, the room was huge and had a bath in the bathroom. We ate dinner in the restaurant which was nice, very good service and plenty of options. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice although not much fresh fruit. Had a great nights sleep, it was quiet, with comfy beds.

We had a great stay and it’s our 3rd, however just make sure you book in early to get your room, we travelled a long way and didn’t arrive until 8pm, we were given the last room which was a disabled room, lovely and big but the en-suite sink was near my knees and the bed about 450mm from the ground, the staff were great and put me into a club room on the second night, I would stay again

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Good value for money

Room was serviceable, although missing a stool. The bathroom was not very clean, sink blocked with hair and shower head blocked with scum or something, clearly not checked when cleaned. Breakfast is very average. I asked for runny poached eggs and got solid hard boiled. Limited selection. Pool and gym are quite good.
