Didn’t like not having live tv - hot water took a long time

We were laying down in bed when a spider egg fell from the ceiling. There were spider webs on the ceiling, the bathroom was dirty, shower as well. It’s an old property with very old carpet that smells and makes the rest of the room smell.

Way overpriced! $360 a night for a small queen room next to the elevator with a tiny bathroom with no door open to the bedroom. Seriously?

Nice location but rooms are dated and the elevators and hallways smelled. Our room smelled as well.

The valet staff was outstanding! Also, excellent work at the resort's restaurants. We did have trouble with both housekeeping (lack of washclothes), and the front desk (aloof). Still, this hotel's amazing location (so close to the beach) made this a special stay.

Room facing a parking lot. I booked for our wedding night. There was no special gesture of congratulations which could have went a long way. No turn down service offered.

The hotel was great. The restaurant at the bar got our order wrong every time. I ordered a salad and it came with chicken. She said I ordered it that way but I’m a vegetarian so pretty sure I didn’t. They took it back and just removed the chicken! The other restaurant didn’t do much better, check was wrong every time, the food was good except for the chicken thing.

This was a wonderful place to stay in east beach and great to be in the center of the action for Fiesta. The property is older like many of the Santa Barbara buildings, but beautiful and the staff was amazing. The pool was nice and warm and you’re steps from an amazing beach, the zoo, several playgrounds, and good restaurants. We took some of the bicycles they offer to State Street, which was so fun and played pickleball nearby. If you are there during Fiesta, don’t plan to drive, but would walk or bike everywhere.

This was a wonderful place to stay in east beach and great to be in the center of the action for Fiesta. The property is older like many of the Santa Barbara buildings, but beautiful and the staff was amazing. The pool was nice and warm and you’re steps from an amazing beach, the zoo, several playgrounds, and good restaurants. We took some of the bicycles they offer to State Street, which was so fun and played pickleball nearby. If you are there during Fiesta, don’t plan to drive, but would walk or bike everywhere.

Excellent accommodations and location!! Much better than expected for our family of 4!

Whati liked: The property had a beautiful charm and elegance located infront of the beach. We loved relaxing, having drinks while watching the view in the outdoor area. The free bikes was an added touch to the amenities. We will definitely return. What I didnt like: 1. We were a little disappointed the Tayst coffemaker didn't work. It had the incorrect pods. We just went to the lobby/cafe for complementary coffee. 2. Could have additional lighting in the room. 3. The water dispenser in Santa Maria building was not working. We went to the next building, i think it was Santa Cruz, to get water and ice. 4. The front desk indicated the drinks tokens was of any drinks, cocktails...in the cafe and restaurant. The restaurant honored it, but the cafe did not. 😞
