Toilet could not be cleaned. Elevator was very small. Food not very good. No TV guide on TV, Only one waste basket Carpet uneven

Upon arrival at the hotel, it did not seem like the quality of a Hampton Inn. The entrance had trash on the ground. The check-in clerk was absolutely amazing. If he was in charge, I'm sure the place would have been better. The hallways were very dirty and needed a good carpet cleaning. The room was freezing at 60 degrees and still had trash from the prior occupant. We were upgraded after reporting that, but the new room did not have a usable curtain for the window and had a strange odor. We didn't complain about the curtain or the smell as we were exhausted and knew we would only be in the room for sleeping. We got used to the smell.

This was a nice stay although this is a dated facility. Carpet is worn, curtains were torn in places, & the patchwork on the walls were very noticeable. The staff was nice, the place is clean, and the breakfast was good. Great location, close to shopping and dining.

My stay was confirmed through Travelocity, when I reached Hampton inn Decatur, they said my reservation has been cancelled without notifying what kind of service is this ??? I would like Travelocity to look into this matter This is so crazy we didn’t have any hotel for the night

Was not a bad stay, but we did have a pet which online stated $50 fee but at the hotel we had to pay $100. No towels were in our room so we had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. The hotel hallways and elevator did not smell pleasant.

The hotel is very easy to find. The room was quiet and comfortable. Road construction on Highway 51 slowed things down right around the hotel. The staff was friendly. Our room only had one bath towel when we checked in. When I called the front desk she told me their washer had been broken. I had to go down to the desk to get more towels.

Overall it was clean and a safe place to stay over. Unfortunately, the breakfast was lacking a lot of items: no syrup for waffles and low food amount. Also the pool was closed for maintenance so our kids couldn't use it.

We were down in the area for the eclipse celebration. Lots of people at the hotel, obviously. However, we did not have any bath towels. Never had that before. Also, there was a lot of noise in the hallway until about 11 PM.

I actually never ended up staying. I tried to call them on two separate occasions to reschedule our rooms and they kept telling me we had no reservations. Very unhappy

Staff was great. The sheet and comforter was stained and short curly hair was visible on both.

Room was ok but spider webs are in every corner of the room and on the lamp and in the bathroom. Dust on the headboard. Also the bath tub drains really slow.

I don’t know why but when I been booking thru Expedia lately I’ve been getting handicap rooms. Not happy about this!!!!

Had to switch rooms had hair in 1 bed and grass in they other bed. The cleanliness of hotel was not good at all. The toilet was not cleaned. I had to wipe it down with clorox wipes. At this point i refuse to tell the front destk attended anything else. I was very disappointed!!

My family wanted a little get a way in this cold weather it was a very clean hotel; pool was a little cold, but kids enjoyed it, we were a little disappointed no waffles in the morning, but we survived. Overall a very nice stay. ordered pizza from Pizza Factor it was awesome.

Evening staff was nice. Morning staff was rude and on a power trip. I go to Decatur for business often and will never be back here.

We found bed bugs in the room we stayed for 3 nights and when we took a picture of the bed bugs and showed it to the front desk worker they changed your room and then was told we would get a refund when the refund never came we contacted the hotel then we was told they would only refund us for only one night

I was charged a 5 dollar “parking” fee because I booked through Orbitz?? Never have I paid this. But she insisted and wouldn’t refund my charge. Seems like a money grab to me. Also the 50 dollar “incidental” deposit is ridiculous for this property in the condition that it is.

Staff was rascist and rude, did not wanted to cooperate. Requested blankets and pillows. According to them they ran out of pillows and only offered one blanket when I need it 2.Also the manager keep saying to check in the room for blankets when they told me to go downstairs for blankets. When I suggested that she can go and check she told me that she was not housekeeping. Very bad experience.

Terrible breakfast, they added a charge for parking after the fact!! We will NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

I booked two rooms with my hotels.com account. When I arrived they said they only had one room in my name. I showed her my confirmation email and she was no help. When I booked the rooms it asked for the name of an adult staying in the second room. After calling I found out the other room was in this name. Then, we got situated and discovered a pee stain on one bed. An unknown dark yellow stain on the other bed. And a huge stain on the window covering. There was also an unbearable odor in the room. We were able to switch our room and the new room was much better. We had to end up getting a room for another night. This time the room was in a different name. They ended up overcharging for two nights instead of one. I think I will stick to Holiday Inn. A little more pricey but worth it.

Check-in was quick and painless, staff were very friendly. Had a little scare when we got to the room and the bed had loose pillow cases. The housekeeper had just gone to get a new pillow and we happened to get to the room before her. Plenty of shopping in the area, and you definitely shouldn't go hungry. Numerous choices of places to eat.

We had a good stay in this hotel, which was clean, comfy, and had a tasty breakfast. The employees we interacted with were all friendly.
