The property was a great value for what it was. It was just over $300 for Sat-Monday, Labor Day weekend. Other places were $120 plus more for the same nights. Rooms were decent given the price point. They were clean, staff was friendly, I was always able to find parking and we were in walking distance from Sunset beach and a short drive to Huntington Beach. A lot of restaurants close by, great value. Place can use some updating but also, given the price it just is what it is.

2nd time I stayed here and for sure planning on staying here on my next vacay. The staff were very polite and i like how the beach is right there! 5min walk from the front door of the property 😃. Highly recommended.

The patio could have been swept and the table and chairs wiped off. The shower mat seems to be glued down. When we tried to lift it off, it was disgustingly filthy. There was dirt or hair clippings in the drawers. We didn’t bother to put the clothes in them. The faucet in the bathroom shower is halfway falling off. You thought you had warm water and when you stepped in, it was scalding hot. The beds are comfortable. The staff was accommodating.

Everything was amazing. The elevator was the only downside. Been staying here since 2017 and it never disappoints. You have to get a beach view room to enjoy the stay. Thank you for another epic family beach vacation! The front desk guys are amazing as well. They have watched my son grow up. Dont let negative reviews detour you from this amazing gem!

Definitely amazing as far as convenience and location to the beach. The beach is literally steps away. The staff on the phone and in person were nice. Pros and cons: It’s outdated on the exterior. The beds were hard. Extremely hard. The room itself wasn’t bad. Nicely remodeled. Clean sheets and towels. The bathroom was strange. It lacks privacy from the sliding barn door. How does it not have a door that seals? I can see into the shower from the hall. Not a lot of amenities. However if you want a hotel right next to the beach with free parking, this is an affordable option.

I booked due to proximity to beach... that is all it was good for. The building is outdated. Broken doors, broken glass mirrors at entry, elevator was out if service. The wall outlets bare held the charging cords. I had to go buy tape to hold it up. I walked barefoot to front desk which was just 2 doirs diwn the hall. When i got back to room my feet were black as night. Oil or just years od grim embedded throught the carpeting. Utterly disgusting. The bathroom had 1980s towel rack and wooden toothbrush holder, yuck. Sinks were shell shaped. Out of date. This whole hotel needs to be remodeled. Parking is underground, which was fine, stair from garage to the upper level where front desk is, had the same nasty filty carpet, and handrails were grimy and sticky. Beside remodel. How about just a professional cleaning company come in? I wont be stay there ever again

This property was not as described and was absolutely filthy. The room was supposed to be a king and it was two queens which is fine. The complimentary lotion and soap were half used. The door would not latch completely. The carpet was stained. We left and asked to cancel our room as it was unsanitary and not as described. The desk person stated we would have to go through Expedia for a refund and would not provide any paperwork indicating we cancelled our stay

Overall location was good, right in front of the beach and lots of locations to eat. Rooms were updated. The hotel is a beach bum hotel not updated around the area but overall a good stay. Parking below was good plenty of room and there was security.

This motel is a good value for the money and the location is fantastic! Morning walks on the beach or the Bolsa Chica wetlands with nearby coffee is a great way to start the day. Parking is very easy and the great dining options are plentiful.

Pre booked stay, drove 5.5 hrs away with 80 year old mom to find out elevator was out of order. Mom had to walk flights of stairs with not even offering help from the staff. Mr Khan argued with me because I had asked for a discount or refund for my stay. Will never come back again.
