During our check in, The front desk recepcionist Mary, collected not only my Credit card but made a copy of it, including the security code on the back. When asked of why such unusual procedure, in a very rude manner, she told me that was in case I would DESTROY the room. I travel very extensively and have never experienced such lack of courtesy from a Hotel employee.

We loved the location and the size of our suite. The breakfast was great too.

We discovered that the pull out bed in the one room suite was so uncomfortable that our children chose to sleep on the floor. It was a huge disappointment as everything else about the room and hotel was wonderful. However we would not stay again because the bed was that bad.

the staff wouldn’t let us move our check out time and we were doing a marathon and needed to wash up before our long drive back home. disappointed

It's a small hotel, so not crowded with people. Windows opened, many hotel windows don't open. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed comfortable. Breakfast selection was good. Shutters no curtains good!

Very noisy location on PCH. Lots of traffic. Bathroom tiny! Toilet & tub only. Furniture old and needs replacing. Must have had dog in room before us as we had white hair on our black canvas bag.

Location was beautiful.the jacuzzi was romantic.

I liked the room it had a great size handy USB ports next to the bed and while very firm I like that in my bed worked out for me. The bath tub is fine for a small child but I'm not a fan of fixed in place shower heads.

The walls are paper thin I could very clearly hear every footstep and noise that came next door so make sure you use Headphones and air plugs (thankfully my neighbors didn't snore but I imagine I just got lucky) But what I really didn't like the most is being misled about me dropping off my Suitcase before Check-in. I sent this: I might be arriving earlier than 4pm (the cruise I'm coming from disembarks at 9am from Long Beach) is it possible to drop my bags off somewhere before check-in? Just so I can explore without a heavy suitcase. Thanks Clifford They replied: Dear Clifford Wilson, I am sure we can accommodate you for the time being, with the luggage. Also we can call you when the room is ready, before then. If you have any more question, please let us know. On behalf of our entire team, thank you for allowing us to serve you. Thank you, Best Western Harbour Inn & Suites So when finished the cruise I didn't want to wait around I got there as soon as I could. Only to have them tell me I could put in a corner they wouldn't even take it in behind Reception and followed it up with the "we don't have any responsibility for it" line too. Harbour Inn isn't close to anything In my opinion if they were going to that they should've laid it out so that I could have spent the day in Long Beach or made other arrangements.

The smell was muggy, the bed was very uncomfortable I asked for a better room with a better bed, she said all bed are the same. I traveled from Modesto to enjoy a beautiful comfortable relaxing time and for the price of $370 Trust me you can find way better.. I never leave reviews but I had too on this one..
