The a/c don't cool the rooms, it is unbearable hot in Barranquilla and the a/c needs to function properly. Also had to ask for small refrigerator as there was none in the room.

Very old and outdated property. We ended moving to a much better hotel after the first night but should have left right away but it was late. We got to our rooms and they smelled musty and the bathrooms smelled like sewage. The room walls and doors were dirty and everything was very old. We found a ball of chewed up gum on the inside door handle, no fridge in our room that was supposed to be there, no toilet seat, our safe didn't work, the shower drain didn't drain and filled the tub up very quickly, the sink taps were almost impossible to turn on, the air-conditioner barely worked and the room did not cool down. The elevator was disgusting and probably hadn't been cleaned in weeks, if that!
Our friends had pretty much the same issues in their room but had a fridge and toilet seat, but no hairdryer.
This hotel needs major renovations and I would not recommend unless that is what you're looking for.

It isn't a 4 star hotel at all. In fact it is very old and under bad maintanance. The service is very friendly but isn't trained at all. I wouldn't stay there again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Hotel was decent and located near lots of shopping.
The room was spacious and great, but i found the shower slippery so had to be careful.
The staff and service was excellent and very responsive and helpful.
The pool was pretty.
I found that the lobby & pool restrooms were less clean. The stainless walls had fingerprints, and so did the elevator walls. Some places looked dirty.
Other places were well kept and clean.
I noticed many stairs and no ramps.

Hotel didn’t have towels placed at room, we had our room cleanup only at 5 pm after we requested, probably they just were short of stuff

I think we received a good value for the price. We were able to walk around the facility to find a mall nearby and also some restuarants.

I’m from barranquilla, and I knew this hotel previously. I know it’s an old hotel but, need to update room furnitures, bathroom appliances and make the breakfast menu more varied.
