Love the location and convenience of Novotel Parramatta. However, needs updating as it’s very old hotel. It’s also too pricy for the condition rooms are in.
The parking is extremely expensive and there are no discounts for hotel guests, which is disappointing.

Many areas seem in need of an update, especially the bathrooms. Mine was small, with a very low ceiling and it was impossible to shower without getting the whole floor dangerously wet (inadequate shower screen). Staff did their best and seemed a little “gun shy” expecting customers to be rude/entitled (in fairness many were). Got the wrong coffee from the barista 2/3 mornings.
Area is growing rapidly and it’s only a very short walk to many good restaurants and the train/bus links to the rest of Sydney.
