The bed seemed to have better days. My back was sore after a night on it… not usual for me. I thought the mattress springs were shot. As for service I went to the desk to find an ice machine rang the service desk bell waited five minutes and no one showed. Never did find ice machine. Entrance to upstairs dirty and carpets in hall way needed cleaning or replacing. Travel thru Castlegar at least once a year! At this point I will be looking for other accommodation! Staff were pleasant though!

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately we were on the lower floor of a two story building and could hear the people walking about above us. Our toilet didnt flush very well and I alerted the front desk when we checked out. Breakfast was OK,

The noise of the guests on the 2nd floor was terrible. Not just one guest, you could hear everything. Also barking dogs

There was a large gap between the door and door frame where flies and wasps were getting into the room. They did end up moving me me but I was not comfortable here

Some stains on the sheets and rips in comforters on both beds. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. There was a lot of flies and wasps outside the doors by parking lot. The kitchenette really didn't have much for utensils and pans. Had to buy a knife because there's was dull and no cutting board.

The only concern was that there is no elevator and had to carry our luggage to the second floor, the breakfast and facilities were very good and clean, would stay here again.

We were situated at the back of the building where all the recycle and garage containers are. Your not looking at a tidy area for sure.
The other thing was the bed. Very uncomfortable.
