Our stay was perfect.. My only complaint is i thought I was going to have a balcony and we didn’t..
My room number was 507 and it was the only one that didn’t have a balcony

The hotel was OK, but looks much better in the pictures. Had breakfast and one dinner there, both terrible. Couldn’t eat the food. Staff seemed unhappy and didn’t really care about anything or anyone. No beach. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

The resort is beautiful with excellent service and great views. Every area of the resort is very clean. We appreciate the shuttle to and from restaurants. The ability to enjoy all three resorts (Amara Cay, La Siesta and Three Waters) is a great bonus. Be sure to take the water taxi with Capt. Michael!

We recently stayed at Amara Cay and had a decent experience. The location was beautiful, and the staff was friendly.
However, our 'partial ocean view' room didn't quite meet expectations. The direct view from our balcony was of the HVAC units, and to see the ocean, we had to turn sideways and look around the corner. This wasn't the ocean view we anticipated.
We brought our concerns to the front desk, but unfortunately, they didn't follow up or offer any accommodations. It felt like our issue was noted but not prioritized.
The lack of effort to address our concerns left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay. Amara Cay has potential, but attention to customer feedback would elevate their service.

The staff at the resort was terrific. Roberto checked us in and was fantastic. We spent a lot of time at the pool and the outdoor staff was super friendly and provided excellent service. The shuttle provided by the resort was readily available and very fun. We will definitely make a return trip to Amara Cay Resort.

The resort was beautiful! Didn’t like that the pool always closed up early at dusk. When we got back from the beach & dinner we always wanted to swim, but it was never open. Should stay open till at least 11pm. I never used the pool. Our last night it was actually still open at 8:45, so my husband used it, I was already changed so i didn’t. A hot tub attached would’ve been nice. Not a real private beach as stated on website. It’s a ladder to get into the water which was full of seaweed. Very misleading. So we left every day to go to the beach come back to swim in a pool that was never open. No arcade as listed on the website, another misleading listing on the website. We were told they took it away to play outdoor games. Another thing we wanted to do after getting back for the night. The kitchen area was very dark, lighting wasn’t good. Only 1 light above the eating counter, no light above sink, microwave, fridge, coffe pot counter & area. 1 day our room didn’t get cleaned & some of the other days, they forgot kitchen towel & face wipes lotion bar soap. We never received any shampoo or conditioner bottles on the counter. We just kept using bathroom hand towels for the kitchen towel which never got replaced.
We would’ve stayed at the hotel if there was a real beach there. So we really never got to enjoy the hotel at all.

Great stay!!! We had an oceanfront room that was beautiful!! Bottles of water from the desk upon arrival, staff friendly, rooms super clean and tiki bar was a plus!! Kayaks and bikes are free to use on the property. My boys loved that!! The free shuttle van the hotel provides is a huge bonus! You can use it within 4 miles to go anywhere and the driver Nick is awesome!!! One negative is that tiki bar kitchen closes at 10pm, which was a bummer because we were all hungry for something for a late night snack. We will definitely be back !!!!

Room was ok but paid for lanai that had no breeze and was uncomfortable to sit . There was a stain in chair inside that resembles feces behind a pillow on the chair, but I am sure the room was otherwise clean.
