The room has some small repairs done but it was patched up (visible signs) and the blanket on the bed had a visible burn spot. The price is good, breakfast is good and the location is good. The front desk was kind. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, stay here. All in all we did like our stay aside from those minor things.

The room they offered was really musty to the point where I could not imagine staying there. I had paid for two nights and talked to the manager who mansplained to me about how rooms are just going to be like that because we are in South Texas. They refunded me only for less than half of what I paid for the two nights, so I had to pay $115 to not stay there and then had to still find another place.

Just an overnight stay. Clean, quiet. Plenty of parking. Outside area with chairs, tables and grill.

Enjoyable stay overall. Hotel is clean. It’s a no frills place but totally suitable for us n our pup for the weekend. Dog spot is astroturf n my picky pup was not a fan but out back was perfect place to take her. Check in was fine, staff was pleasant. They let us check in a bit early which was great. First room they gave was an error n not ready, but super fast fix and it was downstairs which we had requested, so perfect. Bottled water n popcorn gift was a nice touch. Breakfast was standard, again no frills. Second morning we hit up breakfast at 8, it goes to 9:30, no meat. Looks like it was sausage gravy but was out and no signs of a refill, but plenty of other items to choose from. Pool and outdoor area in the parking lot is open until 12am. We didn’t use either, but they seemed okay. We did appreciate no restrictions on golf cart parking! We were able to pull it up right to our door n leave the truck parked all weekend. The room itself was sufficient, a few things like wobbly faucet in the shower and flickering light above table, but everything worked n we weren’t bothered overall. Sound did carry from other rooms, tv possibly? Nice thing was smart TV! Overall we truly enjoyed our stay, loved having our pup with us. Great option if traveling with pets! We will stay here again. The cleaning and front desk staff just hang out behind the counter in the mornings chit chatting and nobody is checking on guests making sure their stay is good, that they have what they need. Nobosy willing to check people out or answer questions even as simple as where is the ice machine without freaking out and getting someone. The cleaning people took our dirty towels never left clean towels so we had to get pool towels from fromt office just so we could shower. The room was really nice tile floors nice bathroom. There's a small stream waterway behind the hotel that has alligators in the water.

We have been staying here for many years. We have visited other places but love it here. Extremely friendly staff and location is perfect. 👍

The staff were very friendly. Nice location, clean beds, new looking bathtub and sink. Bed was comfortable. We will def stay again.

I was a little bummed out that the nice little seafood restaurant across the parking lot with Guinness on tap is now a bakery. We could walk back to our room from there. Of course, I don't blame the hotel for that. We enjoyed our stay. We were impressed that the floors were mopped and the towels were changed daily.

Pet friendly was also a plus

Greeting at front desk was so warm, friendly and upbeat! Clean rooms, large TVs, and comfy bedding. Love the mirror with interior lighting. Not only served bkfst, but had a happy hour. They offered beer andCocktail dogs in BBQ sauce the night we attended. They also had beer and spritzers. Nice offerings! Our stay was enjoyable, as usual! Thanks for everything.

Property was just ok. Pretty sure there was a puddle of unrobe in the walkway to our room. The price was great but probably would have spent more $$ had I known. The AC was struggling & sounded like a jet plane taking off every few minutes when it would kick on.

I totally recommend staying at this hotel! Excellent service, great price and spacious comfortable rooms for a solo trip! Thank you for making my stay enjoyable. The surrounding area is close and walkable to restaurants and shops.
