This was a fine place to stay outside of New Orleans. It was easy to get to and very cost effective.
Unfortunately the pillows were really tiny and uncomfortable and the room had a very musty odour. It was very clean but the smell wasn't great.

Let me say, we LOVE this chain, just NOT this location. We've never left a bad review, & we stay with them a LOT!
Breakfast, what breakfast? I inquired and was told they had toast, mini muffins, & coffee. I asked if they had a waffle maker & she said no, but we do have oatmeal. She said the hours were 6-9:30. Well, we went at 6:10 to see what they had & the doors were LOCKED! You couldn't even get coffee! There was no one around, but a bell to ring. I'm sorry, at 6:10 I shouldn't have to ring to be let in! Nothing was ready! I was getting ready to head out the door and some guy came up, it looked like I woke him up. He didn't say a word to me, and I left.
We go into the room last night & there was such a musty smell & I thought it would dissipate with the air on, but it only got worse. I didn't even want to breath the air!
I head over to the bed to put my phone on the night stand and was horrified by what I saw on the sheets. I have no clue what it was, but there were more of the same spots under the covers. Needless to say, I slept in my clothes!
When we got there, the only vehicle in the parking lot was the workers, and when we left this morning, only the night workers truck was there. Guess that should have been a clue last night to STAY AWAY!
We booked through Hotel.com, so I called them to cancel & was told they need to call the hotel to get approval, and they came back and told me we couldn't because the manager wasn't available to offer a refund waiver. 😭

Room was clean but arms of couch and carpet could use some deep cleaning. Bathroom area clean and up dated. Breakfast instant oatmeal, toast, fruit loop cereal, small muffins and juice & coffee .

Hotel was good for my needs: clean and overall comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Neighborhood was a little iffy but I felt safe. Air conditioner could have worked better but it did the job. Overall, a solid hotel experience for Hammond.

I went there to meet my sneaky link. It was clean, smelled nice, bed was comfortable.. only thing needs to be looked into is the slipperiness of the shower bc I almost bust my behind, other than that the room did what it was suppose to!

The hotel is pretty dated. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quiet.The facility caters to workers and trades-people, no partying. Thats good! The breakfast is extremely limited. It was convenient to the family i was visiting and there were places to get coffee and breakfast so it was OK

The staff and cleaning service was excellent. Bed was comfortable but pillows for king bed were like kids bed. Furniture and comforters need to be upgraded. But for a short stay it worked. It was clean which made it worth staying.
