The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. It was remodeled. The food was good, except the scrambled eggs had a grainy texture. The omelets and boiled eggs were good though. We enjoyed the bacon, sausage, and potatoes. Would recommend it and stay again!

Breakfast was ok, and would change day to day, but wish that certain options were available everyday. We arrived early and inquired about checking in a couple hours early. If we checked in before 4 pm there was an extra $40 fee. 4 pm feels excessively late for a check in. We were charged $10/day for parking even though this is not in an area where people are looking for parking. Felt like it was just nickel and diming us. Tv did not face a bed or sofa. The tv connection kept going in and out. Reservation was for three (1 adult & 2 teenagers) but our kitchen only had 2 plates, 2 forks, 2 knives, etc. we had to run the dishwasher everytime we ate, and we still had to share utensils.

It was a good stay considering we didn’t spend much time in the room. If we were to spend more time in the room or at the hotel I might not have been as satisfied. The beds are not comfortable for someone 8 months pregnant or for someone with back problems. The kitchen in the suite was a little worse for wear but not the worst stay we have had.

I've been staying here a lot over the years. Under different names, same hotel. I'm guessing "ES" basically means no servicing rooms. Food was marginal.

It was a great property. The staff was nice in the building was clean. It is a little bit far from downtown, Which is something to consider if you want to go to all the attractions of San Diego

Enjoyed our stay, bed comfortable, nice space for family, nice friendly safe, breakfast needs more fruit options especially because San Diego has amazing fruit selection, pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs with or without cheese should be on breakfast menu, alternative meats options for vegan, alternative milk options for vegans and lactose free individuals. Pool was dirty with bugs my girls didn’t get to swim bummer especially coming from Colorado:( we love water! Other than that the hotel was nice and great location

Loved it!! Stayed here for 3 days and never had any issues front deck was amazing! Gave me more towels right away no questions asked, awesome pool, gas station right in the front with good prices and even walkable to food places would definitely come back next weekend!

The reception service was very good, except our bath tub was clogged, we reported it, the said they would send someone to fix it and they did not. It was quiet, clean, well- located in a place near restaurants, coffee places, et cetera. No jacuzzi, but a good pool.
They charged 10 Dlls/day for parking because it's "private property."

This is an interesting property. Clearly intended for long-term guests with a kitchen / table / living room. Pros include lots of space and comfortable, quiet rooms. Cons include no room service / clean up, and a surprisingly dirty and worn carpeting in the common spaces. At the rate I was charged, I expected something a little nicer. Still it was overall a fine hotel close to the Sorrento Valley businesses and labs.

We had a suite. Great that it had 2 bathrooms however one of the showers the water barely dripped out. And the Gym had a lot to be desired.

The area is nice, airplanes from the base can be heard. Bed linen clean, bathroom clean but had water damage with a little mold by the bath. Ants showed up in the bathroom and kitchen. Overall average.

Staff was welcoming. Felt safe inside and outside the property - especially at night having to need a hotel key to get in at a certain time through the entrance. Rooms were clean and bed and couch were comfortable. All accessories was provided. Will like to stay here again.

Hotel is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the San Diego zoo and downtown area. Staff are friendly and quick to address any concerns. Breakfast was good, bagels, muffins, egg dishes and fresh coffee too.
