Very nice rooms and great service from the staff. Breakfast excellent although we were disappointed by some of the meals at the Pool restaurant - ate there 3 times and had issues on 2 of the occasions. Would definitely stay there again, it's a 5 star hotel but maybe needs an executive chef that is monitoring food standards.

I think the hotel and facilities are really good. Its a walkable area, close to the beach. Really good for children. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I however think that there buffet food could be greatly improved a great deal.

Hotel is definately not worthy of 5 stars. Stayed in room 208 with my wife and 12 yr old daughter. Day one reported balcony doors not locking which was fixed after complaining for the 2nd time 2 days later. Fridge also reported 4 times as not working or switching on. Finally replaced on day 4. Reported diagusting smell of drains in the bathroom daily to reception who kept sending someone up to fix. After 5 days at 5pm we were offered a change of room which was not worth the inconvenience as we had only one full day remaining. Corridors and rooms are not cleaned properly. When we left there had been no drinking glasses left in the room for 2 days. Good points are that the common areas and pool are lovely and direct access to the beach is great. Breakfast is ok although eggs are not cooked fresh as in any other 5 star hotel. There are little birds commonly seen eating at the baskets of bread from which guests then use and staff do not appear to care. Overall not a good experience all mostly due to poor customer service.

We loved our stay at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura. Breakfast was very good. Pool is nice. We did not try the adults only one. Puro beach is excellent but sunbeds are expensive specially on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Oregano restaurant by the pool serves outstanding food quality. Chris was excellent and very helpful. The superior room is spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and the person in charge of all the food services was very accommodating to our needs. All staff are very pleasant and eager to please. The spa is small but very nice and included in the Hotel price. Car parking was free and that was a bonus. The Gym is very good. Nice cocktails at the pool and very relaxed atmosphere with excellent waitresses service. In summary, excellent stay and my wife are thinking of coming back again.

Overall a very beautiful property. Very clean. Easy to get to from airport. The breakfast food was pretty standard. I loved the pool area and the beach is right across to street 1-2 min walk. I took away one star for not having wash clothes to bathe with. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was fabulous what it did lack was atmosphere around the pool, children were throwing balls to each other in the pool and were told to stop which I thought was unnecessary but apart from that it was a fabulous stay in a great location, would highly recommend the hotel just don't be buying a ball to throw in the pool.

Another great return to the Tivoli Marina Hotel. Excellent Hotel set overlooking the marina. Lovely pool area but need to reserve a sunbed early or all umbrellas taken by 9am! Breakfast amazing and super friendly staff.

It was great except as a person who doesn’t take breakfast EVER, when asked for a credit of something else the answer was bluntly no.

Resort is excellent: great location, ocean access and views, breakfast, and sauna facilities. But for the rates charged, there were issues: 1) Check-in was delayed. We arrived at the check-in time of 3 pm but our room was not ready. Had to wait 45 minutes to get our room. This resulted in us missing a part of the pre-wedding event we were supposed to attend. 2). The bathroom door was not closing. The magnetic latch was broken. The technicians entered our room multiple times but the latch never got fixed during our four day stay. 3) The room did not have a kettle to boil water. We asked for it multiple times but never got the kettle. The response was always we have your request and are working on it. For the room rates charged, I will not stay there again.

Fantastic Hotel, staff and food! Stay only marred by very noisy heavy industrial construction works taking place right next door, which looks like a medium to long term project.

Great hotel and the staff are very friendly. The only negative is the showers - the mixer does not work so they were scalding hot or freezing cold. This was the same for several rooms in our party. Except for that it was 5 star all the way.
