Location was good, price good, but the hotel could have been cleaner. I found hair in the shower. All the staff I interacted with were super friendly and helpful. Very minimal toiletries just some soap and shampoo. No wash cloths only towels and hand towels that were pretty rough. It was bearable for 2 nights. The walls are thin, I could hear some drunk neighbors come in during the night. I was out most of the day so it was fine for what I needed.

This place is absolutely HORRIBLE and not worth any of your money. On top of the lack of cleanliness the service is even worse. The rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures, nonetheless we gave it a chance. We arrived to our room after a day out and the air conditioning was not working. We gave it a second to start working, but when it didn’t we raised our concerns to reception. The red head woman was rude and completely ignorant of our complaint. The room was unbearably hot, so much so that we started feeling sick. Again, we brought up our concern and the woman assured us it was working. I assure you it was not. After the lady’s rudeness and disrespect, we left. Though this doesn’t even go into enough detail to describe the depth of our horrible experience, it gives an idea to this abhorrent hotel and its service. Do NOT stay here. There are better ones around for around the same price and with better quality.

We really enjoyed our time in Barcelona. The staff is beyond helpful and very welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel itself could be cleaner and if you stay in room 405 the a/c not really working.

The location is perfect for shopping and dining!

This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had traveling and I travel a lot. The property overall was not worth the price. The worst part is my children and got stuck on the elevator for 40mins and had to be rescued by the fire department. Although this may have been out of the hotel’s control because things happen, NO ONE, and I mean not one staff member even bothered to check if we were okay after the fire department rescued us and returned to our room. My daughter had a panic attack and I was able to calm her down but it was rough. When I expressed my disappointment with Carlos at the front desk the next day, his response was “It could have happened anywhere.” Not even an apology for the huge inconvenience. I will definitely tell everyone I know how HORRIBLE my stay was and hopefully they will share it with other people at well. TERRIBLE!!

I stayed here for two nights and it was ok. The first day I had no hot water and requested a room change and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Other than that, it was a great location and the room was good.

Other than the location, this was the absolutely worse hotel I have ever stayed in Europe or anywhere else in the world! The room was so filthy that I don’t know where to begin. The AC Unit wasn’t working, the bedding wasn’t clean, there was mould everywhere in the bathroom and the window latch the bathroom was broken and there was no fan. One of the pillow covers looked like it had blood stain and the pillow inside was yellow and dirty. I asked the front desk person to come and look at the AC and the bedding. Instead of apologizing, the clerk put duct tape on the broken slot where the door FOB is supposed to insert into to start the AC. Said that maintenance would come and fix it but nobody showed up. She then said that there’s nothing wrong with the pillow stain which was shocking to hear. I took pictures as proof. We had paid for a superior room but that wasn’t the room we were given. This isn’t a 3 star let alone a 1* hotel. We’re so disappointed by our stay and would have expected Expedia to warn members before booking. The only good part was Milan (sp?) the day front desk manager.

This location is undeniably fantastic and the service team were great. The quality of the hotel itself was not good. There is no sound proofing at all. You can hear EVERYTHING in the halls, the rooms next to you, and outside. Being close to La Rambla, we didn’t expect it to be silent, the general street noise was expected, but not like this. Cleanliness was very lacking, the walls in the room were extremely dirty from scuff marks and wear. The bathroom was dirty with a lot of grime in the corners, and there was clearly some water damage happening because the baseboards were peeling from the walls and warped, the bathroom door didn’t close properly, and it constantly smelled damp in our room. There were cobwebs in the corners of the room. The hallways and the rooms smelt like they were cleaned with dirty mop water.
