Until the renovation is completed, this hotel will retain its 1990s vibe. Absolutely nothing special and not up to the level of what you expect from a Hampton Inn.

Woke up at 7am to a construction worker outside of our second story window on scaffolding. The place sounded like a circus from 7am until checkout. They could have at least given us a heads up.

The hotel is a little run down and dark, with a musty smell. They are undergoing a renovation inside and outside that will hopefully make it feel fresh.

My stay was ok. My room smelled very musky, and I could see signs of leaks around my windows and AC unit. My shower head just kind of bounced around in the wall, didn't seem to be attached to anything. Overall, everything just seemed outdated.

Pros: Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Location is convenient to many dining options, some even walkable. Area felt safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. Two bottled waters were provided upon check in at no cost.
Cons: This property is in need of some upgrades. Everything is very aged. Carpet in hallways is dirty and worn. Room has a old smell to it. Bedskirt was too big and laid on the floor. Sheet was too small and came off the corners easily. Wallpaper peeling in bathroom. No soap in bathroom but was able to retrieve some from the front desk. Door keys stopped working after only a couple hours. However front desk corrected this easily.

My family stayed here for a weekend. Clean hotel, could use some updating. The staff was very nice and professional. Breakfast was great and staff kept the food filled and fresh. Would stay here again!

We stayed here one night for our son’s ball tournament and it was nice. The clerk at the desk was nice but not helpful. Breakfast was a train wreck. It seemed like nobody told the staff that the hotel was full so food was scarce BUT they were trying to get food out as quick as possible.
Our room was clean. The AC was not able to compete with the 100° weather thankfully we had a box fan. The pillows are flat so if you want neck support, bring your own. Overall it was still a good stay. The boys played in the pool, we used the grill (bring your own utensils) and we used the gym. All were nice.

The air conditioning was only working in the lobby. The hallways were 81 degrees, and very humid. The room "window unit" was working, but could not keep up to cool the room very much. Not a real comfortable stay. The man at the front counter, I think his name was Marvis, he did all he could do, but the equipment at the hotel would not cooperate. He called maintenance and the manager and could not reach either one. Breakfast was something to eat, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Everything was fine, I don’t mind staying again. But I did tell them the Carpet in our room was Filthy and needed to be cleaned or replaced. We don’t generally on the first floor and I guess I’m wishing we had not, because of the carpet in that room. I just hope our Socks will come clean.
