Great location with a true beach, away from crowded downtown area. I wish they had umbrellas or some type of movable shade, since there is less palm trees or cover. Food was great, just needs a bit more variety. Staff was friendly and so easy to go out and see the island.

We loved our stay! Loved everything about the hotel. Enjoyed the beach and pool. Lots of amenities near by. Parasailing, renting a side by side and going around the island, booking a boat tour to the keys. The staff are courteous and professional.

We have stayed at this property in the past and really liked it but this time we found the hotel to be quite rundown and things needed to be fixed. We have always loved the beach here but this time it was awful with lots of seaweed that wasn't being cleaned up, which in turn left a horrible smell like sewage. I did not swim once in the water because the smell was awful! Although the staff are amazing and food is very good I have to say the hotel itself needs major improvements and updating.

I had to leave early due to lack of cleanness in my room, they just offer you a bottle of water for your whole stay and nobody’s answers if you wan t more at night. My room had cockroaches, no shampoo, rooms are in pretty bad shape

The only highlight of the property is that is has its own private beach. The rooms are old and poor conditions, no wifi connection available; our reservation was for 3 days but we left after the 1st night and looked for other option within the island. Luckily we found something more accommodating and better price. Cocoplum did not return our money for the 2 days we did not stay.

Gerald and Maura are the best!!!! Gerald and Maura are both genuinely very kind, they both gave me the utmost courtesy and professionalism.....

Check-in took more than hour because they didnt found our expedia reservation and to check out they want it to charge us more , rooms are really dirty, stain sheets, no hot water, no air conditioning, would not recommend this hotel

Last night on the island, neighborhood poor and ghetto like, beach small and full of seaweed. Restaurant was okay, but limited menu. Remote location from downtown.

The hotel is overpriced and needs some renovation. The beach is great and rooms are clean. Staff is also very friendly, if they arrange to modernize the showers this would be a great place.

The hotel is on a beautiful beach with a nearby island that you can walk in the water to. The hotel itself is about a 3. The food and drinks were really good at the hotel restaurant. You could not drink the water from the sink and they did not bring water everyday. They offered free internet but it did not work well.

One of the nicer beach hotels on the island, and there are not many of them. Food is pretty good, especially the ceviche and fish. Nice hammocks and beach dogs. Good family place. or good place to rent a golf cart and drive fro, far away from el centro so none of that noise and conjestion. Staff very nice and helpful.
