Beds are dated and not very comfortable...

This hotel is a short walk from the Octagon, which makes it very convenient. My room was spacious and had a nice view of the harbour. When I reported a light bulb that needed to be replaced, it was replaced promptly.

All the staff are gentle and friendly, I stayed for 3days in Dunedin, all were good except the weather but all staff in this hotel gave me a good info and service.
It’s close to most monuments around the Octagon where the centre of the city and some facilities. ex) a supermarket and so on.
But if you drive, you must check whether a book a parking spot at the hotel can be available or not!

The Staff was very helpful and had nice recommendations around town.

Unfortunately the hotel carpark was full - we had to park down a side street. It was ok but did not expect no park with our room.

Lovely place to stay, staff lovely (especially if they were able to give eye contact. It would be nice to start the stay with a liter of milk in the mini bar.

Street parking was limited to 1 hour durig he day. Quite frustrating! We were able to park on the street overnight 2 blocks away near our daughter's apartment. Since parking was very limited during the day, it was best to leave the city and return after 6pm when parking is free. Next time we won't stay in Central Dunedin.

Central hotel with good sized rooms. Easy walking distance to CBD, the octagon and shops.

Pretty average for a superior king room. Basic everything, small bathroom, small shower cubical. Room was functional for a one night stay but no where near worth the rate charged (due to Pink being in town) Staff friendly and helpful although no warning of surcharge being applied for using credit card for payment.

Disappointing to be advised that there was no parking available and when asked where would be the best area to park my car overnight that was safe I was advised just wherever. No assistance offered.
Check in was unfriendly.
The room was pretty average for over $400
