Great stay! All the staff were friendly. Nice view. My only complaint it was far too warm in the room and too hard to sleep with the down comforters. Also the hot tub/jacuzzi lukewarm. Breakfast was fantastic.

I stayed eight nights at this hotel in a classic Jungfrau view room. The hotel is a few minute flat walk from the train station which is perfect. The room also had an amazing view and nice balcony with a view which I ate several picnic dinners. Wengen was a really nice place to stay. The hotel staff was nice, the breakfast was great (especially the omelets) ,and it was fantastic to have a laundromat on site. A wash and dry was 10 CHF. The juzzucies and spa sun room was amazing after a day hiking. This is an old hotel, built in 1893. My bathroom was not renovated in grey as the pictures show. They also don’t offer massage services in the summer. My room was clean and nice sized, but there were some quirks. For example, the fridge door didn’t shut properly. I asked for it to be looked at and the maintenance person showed me how to jiggle it closed. Also my sink did not drain properly and the toilet had to be pumped to work. My shower worked great and it was nice to have a tub, robe, and slippers. I wouldn’t say my room was a 4 star room (due to the maintenance issues) but I would stay here again for the price I paid $200-250/night because of the fantastic location and view, and nice staff.

Nothing better than walking to your hotel from train, waking up in morning and viewing mountains from your balcony. This hotel was a good discovery. Glad we picked it. Hotel rooms (we took a suite) were spacious and could accommodate our family of 5. SPA is awesome. Breakfast was good and there were many food options just in walking distance of this hotel.

Ideal location. Just a throw away from Wengen railway station. We booked Jungfrau view apartment. A well equipped apartment with all necessary utensils in the kitchen. Two fully furnished bedrooms and convertable sofa in living room. Adequate fans. We loved the stay. Coop stores in the ground floor for shopping.
To improve:
Just on the day of check in, we were told that hotel staff doesnt clean the apartment because it's not attached to hotel.No replacement towels.

They should clearly post notices at various locations on the property stating that the SPA and JACUZZI facilities are available only until 9:00 PM. Additionally, also indicate that guests must notify the lobby at least 30 minutes in advance if they wish to use the SPA. What a joke!

The hotel is beautiful, super conveniently located to the train station. Our room was very comfortable and lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

When I asked questions about where to find breakfast and the room cleaning, the receptionist rolled his eyes and snapped at me that I should read my room card and “what did I think” asking those questions. Another receptionist turned off the lights in the reception area when I was on my computer doing work without saying a word. When I asked for him to turn the lights back on, he rolled his eyes.

Beautiful town in a city filled with views, shopping, restaurants and great food. The brunch is fabulous-literally wonderful. Pasta place in town is also excellent. Comfortable bedding and spacious. We only stayed one night and wish it were more. The train ride up to Wengen from Lauterbrunnen is definitely part of the quaint experience. Stay here and relax from the hiking all day!!!

This hotel is a minute away from the train station and shopping. It has great ammenities, a superior breakfast buffet, and since it’s in Wegen, it is surrounded by amazing views. The staff is professional, helpful, and always pleasant.
