We stayed one night when we visit San Sebastián. The view from the hotel was wonderful and the hotel itself was amazing! I would like to visit again.

Very disappointing stay as the hotel was well below the standard of the Paradores.
The hotel has not restaurant, AC did not work at all. Many other little details that do not clasify it as a four stars hotels. Definitely it is not worth the price

The reception staff was not very forthcoming. There was a big celebration in town but they did not share information about it. We had to ask other people. They seemed to be stressed out and understaffed.

Terribly unsympathetic. Had to cancel due to family hospitalization. Called 1 day after the cancel by date as we couldn’t reach them (still early enough that they could open up the booking to others) and they refused to refund. Other even small family run hotels understood but this bigger corporation stuck to a technical deadline and didn’t seem to care that we were dealing with an emergency hospitalization. Was hoping to stay another time but not after such terrible business practices and bad customer service.

Great location and beautiful building. Service was excellent. Our room was small & basic, but it seems the luck of the draw as the room we booked for family was much better.

This has now gone down on our favorite vacation ever!! The castle itself is amazing. We stayed 10 days and would have stayed more but they had no rooms. We were on the sixth floor ( only two rooms there) and had a two balcony’s. You can spend days just in the walled old town but we were actually just across the street from the River. Walked every place. If you have a chance…book it!!

It was a very nice experience to stay in an old castle. The interior decoration was lovely with a great atmosphere. Also, the breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful, which made for a good trip.

Fantastic. It’s a little hard to get to if you’re driving but the staff makes everything as easy as possible and the place is gorgeous, food delicious, rooms attractive and very clean.

Fabulous.
Lovely old area and an easy walk to many restaurants close to that in the town.
I paid to use the Paradore parking, which makes that easy, as I didn't see any other option near by.

The stay was a great experience in a lovely historic building.
It was slightly disappointing that the café bar closes early and there is not a restaurant in the building.
There are many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

Undergoing construction on the exterior. Little noisy in the morning. Also, difficult to get to since it’s in the middle of the old town. Lots of stairs inside so may be difficult for physically challenged.
