Stayed here for 4 nights and the location is amazing and the staff were also amazing and very kind. The only issues we had were the walls were incredibly thin, we heard conversations in the other room next to ours as if we were in the same room with them. The hotel does have some wear and tear as well but it was clean. I would definitely stay there again, they have a great rooftop to spend the day on and also a great patio that looks right at the beach. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything in Venice and around the corner is little convenience stores, bars and restaurants. Our room was ocean view but it was very small but it did its job. Spent a lot of time on the front patio as well, also the room had a mini fridge that we stocked with beers which was great!

The place is a little order and small but has been nicely updated. Can't beat the location. Only issue I had was that I couldn't turn the heater off one night. Front desk staff was able to un plug.

Awesome location. On the beach and close to Venice Beach main area. While the hotel was great, Venice Beach itself was a disappointment...the beach was overrun with homeless people.

Great people running the place, it’s right on the beach and has great dinning options within a 5 min walk. It’s pretty quiet, too. We will be staying here next time.

The hotel is on the beach which is great. But the rest is just ok. The rooms are dated with many coats of paint and everything is showing ita age. They try to keep it clean but the carpet on the steps is dirty and greasy looking. The AC was broken such that you could not turn it off and it was a cold night.
There is only parking for a few cars. So you will likely have to park several blocks away just on the street.
It was over priced for the quality.
But again it was on the beach. So that was the only plus.

Location is great! Boutique hotel property with nice comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the Venice Beach Vibe and sunsets.
Our room was clean upon arrival and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The parking is limited and can be reserved prior to check in.

I had a wonderful stay. I loved being right on the sand. No ice machine here but there a market a short walk away. Location and staff are amazing. Rooms are basic and small but the bed was comfortable and you get a fridge with a little freezer. Would stay again.

This property is great with a few specific callouts:
1) The rooms are not very big. They were fine for my 12 year old and myself, but were still a little tight.
2) The parking is also very tight and if you get back later than 11pm and the staff is not there and someone has stolen a spot, you can be in a tough spot. Luckily the people who stole my spot left before I had to park in an illegal spot (although the staff assured me they'd cover the ticket if I got one)
3) The hotel is right down the street from some active nightlife spots... Which can be great, but also can result in some possibly unwanted late night merriment (yelling, singing, etc)
Overall id highly recommend, just be aware ;)

The room was too small, very noisy from the neighbors upstairs, poorly cleaned, black hair everywhere, old and in need of renovation, bathroom barely fits one person. Also the pictures do not match reality.
I would not recommend this hotel, especially for such a high price!

The staff was great. The room was as expected. I added an extra day arriving a day early. I specifically contacted the property to insure I could reserve parking for the early arrival which they charge for separately outside Expedia. I was assured they reserved it for me. Upon arrival I was told they did not have any parking reserved for me the first night. It was a hassle and not entirely safe to park elsewhere nearby but I did eventually find street parking after a few attempts. They did comp my parking for the next two nigjts as an apology. It was a hassle but it turned out ok. Would stay here again.

Cute little hotel, not quite what I'm used to but still workable. The location and the staff were the best parts of our stay. Everyone was so very friendly and accommodating, they kept the public areas immaculate, and promptly answered requests. I'd recommend for those looking for affordable, no frills accommodations, and direct beach access.

Great location but a little small & could use some major upgrades

Location is great, room was clean. The rooftop is great for sunsets, and we enjoyed the outdoor space. It is very close to bars and restaurants as well as the boardwalk. That said, it can get a little loud in the back alley when the bars let out, but all-in-all, this was a comfortable stay and I would stay again.
