The food was great, atmosphere divine. Felt like i was in a turretzed castle, transported in to past, with carefully picked pieces accenting each inch of the hotel. Bed was comfortable, wonderful amount of space in the room
Staff was amazing and offered us some brie and crackers even after the wine hours were over. Great vibe in this place, we had a wonderful time.
Breakfast so so good, would go to just to eat breakfast. Staff was friendly and engaging. Made us feel very comfortable, like it was a (unusual) home away from home.

Excellent place to stay and explore San Fran. Such friendly staff, amazing breakfast and beautiful traditional room. We were also travelling with a baby and they made her so welcome and provided a high chair and a packnplay. Thank you!

Fantastic boutique B&B... loads if character and charm in this period building, the staff were great happy to give tips on where to go during our stay and the home made breakfast selection was amazing, if you like charm and dont mind the odd creaky floorboard they have it in spades... would recommend it to anyone. Added bonus of cheese and wine in the parlour in the afternoon for guests to hang out and chat with other guests in the welcoming atmosphere.

Staff was accommodating to my needs and even prepared me a little to go breakfast since I would be leaving very early in the morning.
The location was quite central to various things we had planned and quite adorable. This would be my go to place when I go back

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bed-and-breakfast. It truly is a one of a kind world class experience. The level of attention that went into making our stay welcoming and comfortable was unprecedented. We had a delicious breakfast, baked eggs with fresh ingredients sourced locally at the farmers market. I was expecting a continental breakfast but it was far from Sara Lee bagels! They also offered a lovely wine and cheese hour in the afternoons with delicious chocolate chip cookies, homemade!
Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. It was so much more than we expected. The biggest surprise was how well we slept. I assumed the bustle of the San Francisco streets would keep us up, but it was so quiet and peaceful.
We absolutely loved this bed-and-breakfast, and plan to come back annually, we loved it that much! It’s comfortable and lovely and a great value. We absolutely recommend!

Had a wonderful 4-night writing retreat with a friend. Quiet, comfortable, beautiful location. Lovely parlor for writing during the day. Great food. We felt cared for and were able to get a lot done. Thank you so much!

I have been traveling around the world. This is the first time I was unable to check in when I arrived at the place. When I called to ask where to park (no space to park the car even blocks away), I found out check in instructions. I thought it may tell me where to park. Entering the Check in Instructions, it says you have to check in before 7pm. Otherwise you need to contact them in advance. It was not shown anywhere but was buried layers down. I checked my email. It only says you can check in after 3pm (normal). But didn’t say must before 7pm (never heard of it). No text messages and No emails about this unusual check in way. I called several times. No one picked up a call. I had to book a room at another hotel.
