The staff here were very helpful and polite. We liked our room because it was quite big considering the normal size of rooms in Europe.

Amazing location nearby the entrance to the old city. Easy to access. Unfortunately the service was not what I’m used to for a Novotel. Also it seemed to me a little but over-priced. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and complete.

One night stay during summer holidays on our way to our destination. Executive room with 2 adults and 2 kids. Perfectly clean and tidy rooms. Nice and quiet and good hard beds. Good breakfast. Car charger available for guests. Airconditioning worked very well, nice and cool. Walking distance to the Altstad. All perfect.

The internet signal was bad - often no signal. The reception said they would send a tecnician but never did. Glutenfree (allergic) options were the worst that we have experienced in a hotel. Bread as hard as stone. The day we were going to check out and leave the cleaning lady came 8:30?! There were blood on the toilet wall when we came. The pool was great though.

Excellent location close to Old town, the lake, Rail station and Opera House. Loved both saunas (great views), swimming pool and gym. Very nice breakfast, fresh ingredients, amazing salmon. I was allowed to take some food into the room as my husband and children were still asleep on the first morning. Very grateful for that!!! Also, I asked for an extra hour to stay (if possible) on our last day, which was kindly granted by Cem, who worked in the reception that morning. He was very professional and well mannered. Always worth asking twice as the team, who worked in the evening wasn’t so sympathetic, they just said ’NO’ not even in the polite way. Simply rejected my request without even trying. Thank you Cem!!!

We did not have enough towels also no cosmetic products like Q-Tips. We needed to ask For rope and slippers at the front desk. Poor that it’s not prepared in the rooms. Housekeeping walked into our room while we had the „do not disturb“ sign out. The towels didn’t matched together and looked super old and well used. The mattress was super hard and the pillows too soft. The pool was ice cold and the front desk told us that it’s not much heated because of the emery crises. If I had known that, I had booked another hotel. But it was clean and the stuff were friendly. I won’t stay again.

This was an excellent hotel. Well located for easy walkabout. Near lots of restaurants- sites- shops. Pedestrian area. Parking efficient, fair priced, easy, in secure garage. Also nice bar and restaurant.
