A quick overnight stay while passing through Apollo Bay. On arrival, there was none in reception. A phone number is displayed on the key return box to "call for help." The gentleman who answered was friendly, helpful and assisted with 'check in' questions. Once we made our way upstairs we found the room easily. It was clean, comfortable and simple. A small fridge, microwave, a kettle and also toaster. The bed was comfortable and there was extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe which came in handy for the chilly night. Our budget room was a share bathroom with one other room. The bathroom was large in size with a small shower, however, has a separate bath tub for those so inclined.

Bed uncomfotable and could hear neighbours in room beside walking around the place. Other then that accommodation was very clean and in a good area

A terrible experience. The room was not as described on your site. Attempts to address this were met with hostility on the phone from the owner. At no time during the stay was the owner or employee at the hotel. In your reviews other people had the same issues. How does it rate 8 ?This should be checked out to determine if the place is worthy of your site.

Almost all worked as I expected. It was a good overnight stay. However there were two wlan-options available, but no passcode was given. This could be optimized.

The property was advertised as a premium suite. It was looking tired and in need of refurbishment. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom in need of upgrade e.g. only two of 5 lights were working, shower head needs replacing. Convenient and quiet location and ample car parking. Not quite what we expected.

Also, the fellow that I spoke to on the phone to finish my check in was helpful and polite. It was quiet during my stay with a bit of noise from guests coming in and going, but nothing to loud. Now, onto the bad news. If you are hoping that the property is on the beach - it is not. The property is old and desperately needs an overhaul. The decor looked like something out of a 1970s beachside sit-com. My room (an Executive room?) wasn't exactly flash. The appliances were old (I was too scared to use the microwave, which I think was built in the early 1900s). The use of a curtain to separate the bathroom/toilet from the living/sleeping space was novel, but hardly appropriate for an Executive Room. The bed was uncomfortable and I don't think there was airconditioning or at least none that I could see. Would I stay there again? No but if you are more interested in the beach than the standard of your accomodation, then this place might work for you.

The worst we have ever experienced. The shoe box sized room faced west but no aircon; the tiny TV’s remote did not work. We had a shared bathroom (!!!) but no wash basin in the room. There was parking - on the street. At no time did we see a real person.

Extremely terrible experience!!! This is the worst place I have ever stayed, the rooms are too small and old . The toilet smells bad, like piss. The worst thing is that the toilet has no door so the whole room has a disgusting smell. I strongly recommend people not to choose this B&B!!!

Clean and tidy accomodation very close to the beach and walkable distance to town. Our room had a large bathroom but the bedroom was small. Also there was no air conditioning in the room.
