The staff were wonderful! They had a firepit with snacks and smores! They are pet friendly. The location is perfect. It is diagonal from The Spotted Trout. Very walkable to everything in Blowing Rock on Main Street. The Inn rooms are very roomy! Large bathrooms with its own heater. It was very clean. The towels are very soft. The beds are hard, but can be good if you have back issues. Our remote didn't work but that's an easy fix.

We stayed in the executive suite, which had a king bedroom with a fire place in both the bedroom and living room, a nice kitchen ding area with a large deck off the kitchen. It also comes with an extra bunk type room great for kids and teens and a nice sized bathroom. It’s says tub/shower combo but does not have a tub. It also has a sauna which was broken. We let the manager know about that and a broken lock going to the deck and she responded so quickly. Her and the other lady working there were so kind and attentive to everything. I can tell they are trying their best for the patrons. The issues of the hotel really fall on the owner. It really is such a cool suite, but in much need of some simple updating for their guests. The carpet is old. The mattress was so hard and cheap feeling could really use to be replaced. It felt like a display mattress that wasn’t really made for sleeping. The plus is the kind management, the super awesome location, and the mountain cottage feel of the suite. I’d love to stay here again but we can’t face sleeping on that mattress and not getting a good nights rest.

Good location, clean.

Very clean.

Bed was terribly hard. Floor was dirty and needed to be mopped. Feet became very dirty just trying to get dressed after showers. We’ve have stayed at much better establishments for less money than we paid for our trip. We spent two nights. Very dated room. Leaky shower faucet, closet light (which provided majority of light for the room) and fan above bed was powered on the same switch. Turning off light left us without the fan.

This is our third time at The Ridgeway. It is quaint and convenient. The staff is so kind and accommodating. Great communication and ready to assist with any need.
