The Mast Farm Inn makes you fell like you’re home from the moment you arrive. We arrived at night and the house was adorned with beautiful lights and out late check-in was made simple with Help from Jessie. Our room, The Elizabeth Gray Vining room was perfect. The complimentary two course breakfast was delicious. Exploring the farm was also great. There is so much history in the home and on the property. The attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff made it hard to leave. I will definitely be returning. Definitely would recommend if you want a relaxing weekend getaway or a romantic weekend with that special person.

This was one of the most INCREDIBLE places I have ever stayed!!! I love history so that is its first plus, just the amazing old building that it is, with creaking floors and slanting ceilings on top floor, but then it was one of the most luxurious places I have stayed as well!! So warm (it snowed some that night), comfy bed, pillows and comforter, towels and robes, their own scents for the bath salts and toiletries, even claw footed tub!! Spotlessly clean (a big concern for me) and a lovely bouquet of flowers and a small pastry treat greeted me as I entered the room.. And the food - snacks in the evening, hot drinks and pastries (homemade) anytime of day, 2 course breakfast - gourmet!! I felt so spoiled, just like a queen!!

This paradise was just what we needed. Jessie was nothing less than outstanding and the chefs prepared our breakfast (included in the cost of the room) and it was like going to a 5 star restaurant. The meet and greet in the lounge between 4:30-5:30 offered hors d'oeuvres and a selection of specialty drinks, all which were delicious. The best part was the photo op. It is an Historic Hotel and the grounds are utterly beautiful. It has been restored to keep its near original condition. This valley is a breath of fresh air.

Do not come here if you want television and all the modern conveniences. This is strictly a relaxing getaway in a historic surrounding in a beautiful Valley.

This was our first visit, but we knew it's reputation from travel articles, web info, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the setting, and the rooms are truly lovely, each one spacious, attractively appointed, and spotless. We were disappointed though, by the two meals we had, which were surprisingly heavy on starches, and very skimpy on anything fresh, especially meats, vegetables or fruits. The menu offers fixed selections, so there are no choices on anything, except for flavors of pie for dessert. Only the breads and pies rated praise. Note that the meal prices are steep, which baffled us, given the very mediocre cuisine. A lovely inn featuring a restaurant needs to offer fine meals, or else just stick to the bed and breakfast concept.
