The rooms are nice and big. The spa needs a renovation. There’s only old people at this hotel so not really nice for someone under 60 years. No one in the staff speaks a word of English so you need to be German to go there or know the German language. Food was not good at all.

The indoor and outdoor pools and the lazy river really made this a perfect hotel for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend!

pro: I like this property, I came here for so many years (before covid) and it is still my go-to hotel when I'm in Dessau to visit my family. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is ok.; the location, special all the parks are amazing; very safe
con:you had to ask for cleaning solutions before entering the breakfast room, no social distance at all; restaurant is always booked, you have to make reservations days in advance?!
Conclusion: I still recommend HeideSpa Hotel&Resort

Very nice resort. Rooms are nice and super quiet. Everything is extremely clean. Great place to relax! Pool is very big and nicely heated.

We stayed in a nicely renovated room, on a floor with "Bathrobe-bridge" that connects the hotel with a spa. Everything was perfect for us. A hotel restaurant was quite good for dinner, people at reception always friendly and swimming pool had a decent swimming area + a kik-ass river stream

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. Facilities and rooms are fine with simple design. The service however was substandard. The hotel advertises several restaurants and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Upon arrival I was directed to the restaurant in the spa wing for a coffee and something to eat where I wanted to catch up with some emails. The restaurant advised that wifi in the restaurant is not for hotel guests and would have to be charged separately. I have been also quite rudely denied the option to take a cup of coffee and cake to the lobby bar. This is not the service I am used to in 4 star hotels and can therefore can not recommend the hotel for business travellers.
