I really enjoyed my stay and the service from the reception team was amazing on the first day . The breakfast was great, and the restaurant team was really good.
However, I was very unhappy with my experience on the last night of my stay. I returned to the hotel around 1:50 am to find the door locked and no one at the reception. I spent about an hour knocking on the door and calling the hotel numbers before someone finally opened the door. This experience really overshadowed all the good things I loved about the place. Additionally, one of my friends mentioned this issue to the reception team when checking out, but they did nothing about it.

The reception at the desk was luckily able to change it for me to keep the same room and the same rate. I really appreciate the help on this as some hotels do not accommodate errors when it is the guest's mistake. The hotel and room were lovely, and the hotel is in a great, central, very walkable location to everything in town and the train station. I highly recommend.

Marburger Hof has parking though it is tight if one does not have a small car. It is conveniently located near Elizabeth's Kirche and access to the elevator to get to the OberDorf or Old Town is a 15 min walk. It is probably the best option if staying in Marburg main town. The room was very comfortable and we were given a room away from the street so it was quiet.

Excellent location in the heart if the city. Few minutes walking from the main train station. Rooms are very clean, renovated, fully equipped with a kitchenette. Friendly staff.
Overall a very pleasant stay.

Only real issue I could say was the noise level from the street below well after 3am.
