We have not traveled a lot since covid and we are very disappointed with the changes in the hotel industry. Many hotel amenities are no longer there unless you ask for it. Food service has very much gone down hill. Room service is only done if your staying a third day. Even clean towels have to be asked for. A couple of items in our room: Toilet base leaked; Desk chair was nasty, had not been cleaned since the last dog used it as their bed; Refrigerator ice maker did not work; desk notepad was empty, had not been refreshed.

Watch out for the $3.00/night parking fee. I was not told about it at check in/out, nor was it mentioned on hotels.com when I booked the room. Otherwise it was a nice hotel.

We have spent several nights at this property, and the rooms and staff are great. But.... They charge $3.00 to park in their parking lot, or even if you park in the parking lot of the restaurant next door. Everyone who stays here drives here, I mean its next to I-44, and Joplin only has two incoming flights a day which only hold 50 Passengers each. Do the right thing and drop that petty charge that detracts from this nice property.

We reserved a 2 bedroom suite. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was fresh and a lot of choices. The ladies making breakfast had everything stocked fresh biscuits and eggs 20 minutes before breakfast ended and we're very friendly.

We were told breakfast was served until 9 am and at 10 til 9 even the yogurt (which was all we wanted) was put away. We callee after check out when we realized a bracelet was left in our room. We called less the an hour from checking out. The front desk would not assist. Transferred us to head of houaekeeping. I left a voicemail with the information and my contact #, no one returned the call.
