This is a great resort with a very friendly staff. The primary restaurant we used was slow and I thought the food quality at breakfast was average. It is also hard to get small things like a cup of coffee without a long wait.

I’ve stayed at Villa del Arco twice. First time5 star experience. 2nd time, 2 of the 6 days, the water was shut off for multiple hours in the middle of the day for repairs maintenance. One of the days, my niece was getting married on the beach. Otherwise, facility was on point & staff friendly and helpful.

Safe. Wonderful one-bedroom suites. Beautiful pools and beachfront. Close to Cabo San Lucas which makes it very convenient for dining out, shopping and clubbing in the township of Cabo.

I loved my stay. I took off 1 star because of the horrible service from El Patron restaurant during the Dallas Mavs game and the next day guests fighting during the one night I decided to stay in my room to rest.

The other big issue we had was the constant requirement of signing for every single order, even though this resort is an all inclusive. Every meal, every drink, you’re signing a receipt so the wait staff can get a tip. They follow you down to the beach or go directly to your room to make sure you sign for any service. At the all inclusives we’ve experienced, we’ve tipped with cash after service and never saw a bill, which made for a more relaxing experience.
Lastly, we were accosted by hawkers at every turn once we left the hotel. You couldn’t walk a few yards without someone trying to hustle you into buying something. After a while it gets very aggravating. Not my idea of a relaxing get away.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was ill while their and they arranged for a in-room visit by local doctors and then followed up repeatedly in the days afterward to see how I was feeling and ask if I needed anything. They could not have been more thoughtful and caring.

The staff at spa and restaurants were wonderful. The concierge services were a little frustrating. The property is very clean but starting to be a little run down. An elevator was being repaired. Location is amazing. Taxi service is readily available. Property feels very safe and security is tight.
