experience Benalmadena. There's both positives and development items. The positives: the cleaning staff really do a spectacular job and work hard - there is not a spot of stain at the hotel and our room was always immaculately clean, so big thanks to that. Pool was also clean. Staff is really friendly and doing their best effort. Location is convenient to explore Benalmadena. Generally the room was nice and comfy. Suggested development items: The restaurant did have many options, but to me it felt a bit "quantity over quality" approach. Food is quite heavy and unfortunately I did not feel the half-board was worth the money and mostly ate elsewhere. Not too many vegetarian options besides some salad. Gym was small and you need to reserve a time to go there. Barbell weights end at 14kg, so you can only do bit of warmup. Would have appreciated maybe bit more weights or some more flexibility to the system since that limited our schedule a bit, only 1 person or room can go at a time which I understand since it's very small. We had our room at 1st floor, and sometimes could hear other guests from the corridor. Even though pool was nice, people do reserve their spots with the towels, which I don't appreciate, so unless you are early or come near closing, no spot for you at the pool. Overall this is a good more affordable hotel so my rating is mostly lowered due to the restaurant not meeting the expectation this time around. Could visit again, but this time without the half-board.

Very nice clean hotel with friendly staff, food was good and ample

Such a great hotel located perfectly by the promenade and the marina. Within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping. Also a 15 min drive to the Malaga designer outlet and 25 mins to Malaga airport. Staff were incredible and so friendly - shout out to Billy our waiter who made us feel so welcome! Pool area was always very clean, never struggled for a sunbed (we went mid July) and service at the pool bar was great. This was my first time here and won’t be my last! Thanks for a great stay!

Such a great hotel located perfectly by the promenade and the marina. Within walking distance of amazing restaurants and shopping. My second visit to this hotel and once again I wasn't disappointed.

All ways wanted to try Mac hotel. It was a disappointing visit , clean and location was good to marina beds soft but comfortable, quite at night to . Breakfast poor half board doesn’t not give option to change to afternoon meal over all food poor , plastic decking would roast your feet ,entertainment in evening below average compared to other hotels,will I be back ,Nop .Between Hotels .com and hotel being a pain over amendment to booking it’s was a disappointing stay ,hotel is dead no atmosphere in evenings. (All the hotels I have been it’s first for cockroaches in restaurant) .yes disappointed very

We loved this Andulucian Style Hotel with a lovely courtyard outside the restaurant where we had breakfast in the mornings! The Hotel is situated beside the Marina with easy walking access along the promenade to Torremolinos and Benalmádena Lovely beaches and restaurants near by

Very nice and peaceful stay. Nice and helpful staff with the included dinners have a dufferent theme every night. Note that the beds are hard.

We have stayed here every spring since 2019 and like the location but the accommodation is not the most state-of-the-art and feels a little dated compared to some other hotels and we know it (but why bathtub?) but we still like it. Little surprising is that the standard in the restaurant has become mediocre this year compared to previously superb. The food is still good, but in previous years, for example, there has been more fish as a choice. The feeling is that the alternatives are a lot of pork dishes

First time at this hotel. We normally stay around the windmills area but it was a nice change to stay at the marina + Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable, bathroom spotless, complementary drinks in fridge, tea and coffee supplied daily. - shower gel was not topped up. Air con was really noisy and we could not sleep for the noise so room was very hot. No sun on the balcony at all which was disappointing. Dining Room was well organised and kept clean. Dinner in the evening was very varied with a good choice of hot and cold dishes served buffet style. - Although the plates were hot, some of the food was luke warm. Breakfast was not so appealing with the same hot food every day and was not really to our taste. The eggs were dried up, sausages were not very good quality. However the fruit, breads, cheeses etc were good so we did find something that we liked. Entertainment/Bar Carmina was our first entertainer. Wow, she was absolutely 5* what a singer with lots of energy. She sang for hours without a break, sang songs to suit all ages, we could have listened to her all night, every night. Absolutely amazing and the best entertainer we have ever heard in Benalmadena over the many years we have visited. The Tuesday entertainers were very good also. Missed the karaoke. Ruben was also fantastic, he had a great voice and the guitarist was also very good.. Bar staff were also very good. Overall a great hotel with great staff. We may return some day

Really good food for a buffet. One highlight was smoked salmon and asparagus but there were many more. Even the breakfast included crispy bacon and English sausages, along with four types of eggs! (Incidentally, free Cava at 8AM?!) The staff are all excellent at what they do and friendly too. Be aware than much of the clientele are German, but there are Dutch and UK people as well as Spanish. The age group is generally over 70 with entertainment to match, so a chachacha or even a line dance would be much more likely than punching the air or throwing some shapes. Nonetheless, if you’re fine with that, this is a fine choice for a few days near the marina.
