An older motel, but in excellent condition, the Cape Pines has large updated rooms paneled in pine. The bed was very comfortable, the furnishings attractive, and the manager even called to make sure everything would be ready when we arrived.

Very clean which speaks volumes to me.. close to everything we wanted. Sand bar restaurant was really good.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at Cape Mines!
Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is great! Kids enjoyed the pool. Close to many restaurants and grocery store. Definitely recommended!

Engineering hardwood flooring was an interesting touch and great alternative to carpet in an humid environment. Sadly, no breakfast was included which seems to be the norm in this area. Only minutes away from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and Beach.

Place was clean and front desk was nice! Front desk called us to make sure we can het our keys if we arrived late and told us information about the ferry.

Very friendly staff, super helpful when I needed scissors and a knife. Pool was nice. Short stay for us, but a very pleasant atmosphere on the grounds. The shower was horrible, but that was the only real complaint.

The property was centrally located and easy to find. Overall the room was nice, however we did have a colony of ants on the sink counter that trailed to the hair dryer.

If you are looking for a posh place this is not it. It is a good basic place to stay. The room size is great and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. We would stay there again.

Main negative is the 10:00am checkout time for those on a relax type vacay, and potentially the no continental breakfast option for those used to that when they’re traveling.

We planned on camping but with the tropical storm hitting we needed to adjust our plans and Cape Pines filled our needs. Checkin was easy and the staff was super nice and friendly. This is an older place but well maintained. The room was very clean and they had hardwood floors which was nice. The only thing is I can a negative was the Air Conditioner. It was a little noisy but other than that we stayed dry and had a clean place to crash.
