I'm sure that in it's day Cumberland Resort was top notch, but it looks very tired and desperately in need of some TLC. I felt it was extremely overpriced for the overall condition of the resort.

This was a fabulous apartment in the heart of Lorne. It was well equipped, comfortable and had a fabulous view.

The room was good and provided all of the necessities but there could have been more towels provided and the mould in the bath/shower should have been removed to show a better presentation

Great spacious place across the road from the beach. Old decor but still a great place to stay. Customer Service at reception was wonderful. Would definitely book again

We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean, quiet and spacious. The only downside was the beds weren’t very comfortable. We could feel every spring in the mattress. Maybe a pillow top would help fix the problem.
Otherwise very happy with the room.

The bath/shower was hard to get in and out of. The staff dealt with a problem on the first evening promptly and efficiently. Will visit again.

Cumberland is in a great location right opposite the Beach. The room was really good. An upgrade to some appliances would be a good idea.

Bad smell in unit when we first walked in. We discovered it after 24hrs. Smell coming from drain tray on the back of the fridge with rotten milk in it.
Can’t fault the amount of towels for unit.
Had to wait quite awhile at reception to get pool towels. No one at front reception to check out.
