A stylish, well-located hotel that made for a perfect launchpad for exploring Hudson. The staff couldn't have been nicer, either.

What an interesting spot, short walk to the visitor center in the Chamber of Commerce and very convenient to all of shops and restaurants on Warren St. Hudson itself is a city in transition and headed in the right direction, but be aware that it is a place of great architectural beauty and scores of rundown properties. We were fascinated. Note that parking is on the street and that hauling our luggage up and down two narrow flights of stairs was challenging. Thankfully we had help from the friendly folks who greeted us.

I absolutely loved the stay here and the staff is exceptional. The room was wonderful BUT the people upstairs just did not stop moving the entire time which made my stay a little more than uncomfortable. PLUS there was all day construction happening on the street and nearby bridge. So the drop in the rating is from my luck of the draw. Would still return in a heartbeat especially if I'm attending a show at the Basilica.

Sarah checked us in when my wife and I arrived. She was great! Helped us get settled in our room and gave us tips about the area, etc. The place is conveniently located to shops and restaurants. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely being coming back!

My wife and I appreciated the unique conversion of an historic building into a charming hotel. The interior design made the most of the available space and illustrated that care and thought had gone into its implementation. The bathroom was okay though quite tight for maneuverability. Perhaps eliminating a bathtub and utilizing a shower stall might have allowed for more room. However the staff, was more than pleasant and our stay was most satisfactory.

Hotel and restaurant were lovely, everyone who worked there was courteous and helpful. The room was tight, we had a king sized bed in arguably a QN sized room and it was fine for a night but any more than that and with actual luggage it would be tough. The bed was comfy, towels were huge and fluffy. AC is central so not individual, understandable but worth noting. The common area with full kitchen and hotel dog were AMAZING. Parking was on street and I had concerns but there were no issues. Highly recommend the bar and restaurant. Everything was meticulous and delicious.

Hotels.com did not make it clear that this room was on the third floor, walk up. I would have never booked this room knowing I had my 87 year old mother with me who was then forced to walk up probably 40 stairs. Because of it, we didn't go out to dinner because she would not have been able to make 2 trips. The room service food, from their restaurant, however, was excellent.

The room was decorated very nicely. Bathroom could be a little more modernized. The windows and walls must be very thin because the street noise was really bad. The restaurant downstairs was very good.

I think that it is probably a better choice for a leisure trip than for business, because reception does not open until 9am, the coffee shop until 8am, and WiFi not that strong in my room. Which is all perfect for someone looking to escape, just not the best match for me with work. Thanks especially to John who went out of his way to get me set up in my room. Could not be a friendlier team!

Very comfortable room in a historic hotel. We wish we could’ve stayed longer than the 3 days. Great restaurant and bar just downstairs. 5 minute walk to the train station and to the wonderful commercial strip. Would highly recommend!

Will be back for business and hopefully for a weekend getaway! So many special touches, and the staff and owners thoroughly care about the experience of your stay. Will be back and will suggest to everyone I run into!
