Cette maison de ville victorienne magnifiquement restauré avec ses caractéristiques d'époque amende est fixé au coeur de York. Le célèbre York Minster se trouve à 2 minutes à pied, ainsi qu'une sélection de restaurants, de boutiques concepteur / cadeaux et pubs à quelques mètres.

This was an excellent stay and the location is unbeatable. Janet was excellent and you can’t beat a basket of goodies when you arrive. Coming in late and having a few thing’s waiting for you like pop bread and milk is precious. Janet we will definitely be back the next time we come. Thank you for everything you did.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Minster Bells. The location in the city centre was fantastic and the house was ideally appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Janet, our host, was wonderful, always on hand to answer our questions quickly. We can highly recommend this property - suitable for family and friends alike.

The location was amazing! Very roomy, very clean exactly as listed. Lots of amenties ex: cups,plates,towels, etc. Would stay here again!!!

Beautiful building in a perfect location. Very spacious for a large group-even with 9 of us it was ample big enough. Plenty of car parking, local shop, pubs and food nearby. Host friendly and responsive. Would recommend.

Access to the property both back and front and to the bedrooms involved a lot of stairs of which we were aware of. Fortunately we are a fairly physically fit party of senior ladies who are not challenged by stairs. Highly recommend .

Great location with parking for 2 cars. Short walk to the Minster and other attractions. Large kitchen table ideal for the entire group to use together and the kitchen has everything that is required though is a little cramped. Mattresses were ok but could do with replacing. Light in main bathroom is poor.

Great location with the Minster just round the corner which proved a great landmark to get your bearings from. A real bonus having the space for two vehicles which proved extra useful when came to unpacking the cars as the street was very busy. The downstairs space was fine as we were rarely all in the house together. The property was chosen for its number of bedrooms, location and parking. All the guests (8) said they would stay there again. Only downside was that the street could be very noisy so perhaps anyone that isn't used to too much noise at night should choose a room at the back of the house.

The owner of the property was extremely helpful and happy to help if/when needed. The property is in reasonable order but would benefit from a refresh in terms of decor, fixtures and fittings eg improve lighting in 1st floor bathroom, install power shower to compensate for poor water pressure. Being able to park securely was a major bonus.

40th birthday
We rented the property as a family for a 40th birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Lots of space for us all and the location can’t be beaten! Janet was a great help and super responsive with queries.

Amazing festive property for a magic Xmas weekend.
Very very close to the city walls and Minster, perfect walking distance. Lovely clean and beautiful house. We’d love to visit again. Free parking in a secure garden was a real bonus.

This is a great house which is only a few minutes from the centre of York, in an area with lots of interesting shops and cafes. We had great communication from the owner and everything we needed was there.

Holiday at Minister Bells
The property was warm, clean and comfortable and suited the whole family ages ranged from 2 to 87, although the stairs might be a challenge for some older people. My grandson had a wonderful time with all the 'new' toys he had to play with and his parents were impressed with the organisation of the bedrooms which allowed them to keep him safe, have their own space as well as being with the rest of the family.
Sadly my husband and I needed to leave early because my father-in-law was rushed to hospital and died on the Friday but it was wonderful to have had such a lovely last few days with him in York. We have many photos of him with the family laughing, eating, walking and reading books. He died within 24 hours of leaving York but it was due to a stroke no one could have predicted. We are very grateful to have had our last few days with him in such homely surroundings. The neighbours at number 35 were also very chatty, friendly and welcoming - such lovely people!

Minster Bells
We had a fun stop in York on our way back to London. The lovely Victorian house was a stone’s throw from the wall, Minster and the quaint streets and shops. Despite a misty rain, we enjoyed the Chocolate Museum Story tour experience and walking along the wall. Yummy bakeries! The bells of Minster were lovely to hear on Saturday and again on Sunday.
We had more than enough room. Wifi, DVD movies, well equipped kitchen and a garage.
A great end to our school break holiday!
