I stayed in a garden-view room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The garden itself is beautifully maintained, and the hotel premises offer a stunning direct view of the cliff beach. We frequently ordered tea to our room, and it was always delivered with care.
One downside was that there were no towels in the room upon arrival. I didn’t contact reception about it, so I can’t confirm if this is standard practice or an oversight.
Overall, the stay was quite nice.

The only highlight was the view from the room, but the price felt unjustifiable for the overall experience. Would recommend only if the view is your top priority.

There's no room service, the on site cafe uses concentrates for all beverages, and some of these containers are not even close to being stored hygienically. The staff are ok but service is slow if you want extra towels etc. The view from the room is 10/10, waking upto a beautiful sunrise is serene. Access to the beach is easy and tedious at the same time. Overall we did have a good time.

Small frugal hotel with rooms precisely on the edge of the Varkala cliff, Located on south beach, away from the next of hotels of north beach. Walks to the south and fishing boats or the north and the Varkala nest of hotels. Two great little cafes nearby - one on the property and one a short walk south.
