The hotel was in a great location for our event, and a nice part of Birmingham (jewellery quarter). Check in was straightforward, staff were friendly and I was upgraded to an "apartment" which was clean and well appointed. My only issue was that the rooms didn't seem to be very well sound insulated because the people in the room above kept me awake until 1:30 because I could clearly hear their talking. Clever use of an app to allow access to the hotel, lift and room, instead of a key.

Very interesting hotel pretty much in the center of Birmingham. (You walk around 10-15 minutes to Central Station) The room was small but sweet and the bed was comfortable. What I liked was the easy access over smartphone. I wasn't a big fan of the shower/toilet combo though. So in the end it was great for a one night stay, but the wet floor in the bathroom would bother me if I stayed longer.

Would suggest on that it’s not friendly to less tech savvy folk and many may not feel safe how long they have to fiddle with the app to get into the hotel and their room. That and a disappointingly cold shower earns this a 3/5. Could be a very nice place.

The room was ok although next time i would definitely get a window room. All the staff were lovely and helpful. There was free water in the rooms but I think it would benefit from tea and coffee in the room.

Really good stay and upgraded on my first night to a bigger room that I didn’t need but enjoyed having for the night with tea and coffee in the room. You can get tea and coffee by reception so there is a place to get a drink but still like to have in the room but only available in the expensive rooms. Very much recommended. A pleasant and quite leafy part of town yet only a few minutes from the city centre. Great restaurants nearby. Clean, modern, comfortable rooms with everything controlled by your smartphone. Excellent TV with all the apps you need.

Easy parking in the NCP carpark 2 minutes away which was very secure. 15 minute walk to the arena, 20 minute walk to the city centre. Lots of options for eating out. The room was perfect for a base - smaller than expected, but this was fine as we only needed somewhere to sleep after the concert. Room was immaculate, bed incredibly comfortable, smart tv and bottled water in the room, great size bath towels, shower was great. Overall, highly recommended, we will definitely be back for our next trip to the arena!

Confusing online check in which says check in on line and avoid the queues but then have to go to reception. also strange conversation about a room upgrade but I was already booked in the highest grade room. Location and facilities very very good in an apart room.

This is perfect for a quick stay. I got the no window standard room and well it definitely didn’t give a fair description. The room had a smart layout and led lights above the “fake window” so it looks like the blinds are down but only wall behind it. The bathroom was interesting, I honestly didn’t mind the layout but definitely should make it clear that your bathroom will flood because the entire bathroom is your shower. All in all really nice spot

The noise finally stopped at around 5am. We were on the ground floor so don't know whether these are noisier rooms. Previous stay on higher floor was fine. It was a,shame as spoilt an ownerwise positive experience

We booked to stay for 1 night and although it’s a 3 star hotel it was spotless and the staff were excellent. There’s no restaurant or breakfast which is why it’s a 3 star but we didn’t need one as it’s in the city centre! The room was small but perfect for a 1 night stay. The bed was really comfortable too. There was a tea/cofee machine with biscuits and bottled water. Really pleased with our stay.
