This is a really nice modern hotel located just a block or so from the main squares in town. The rooms have everything you need and we had zero complaints. Breakfast was excellent, and there are plenty of restaurants you can walk to from the hotel.

I loved the location. The people were nice and the property was very clean. The room was very small and the bathroom had a super slippery shower with nothing to keep one from slipping. I did see a long red string with a button on it to call in case of a fall. It would be much better to prevent falls in the shower by having mats than to come to help people AFTER they fall. When I asked for a rubber mat they were very nice and brought one to me quickly. The bed was very hard/uncomfortable.

At checkout, we found that our room didn't include breakfast. We paid for all breakfasts that we had at the hotel. Service at breakfast was exceptional. Luca brightens up the place when he's there. There was one day that he had a day off and the place noticeably was missing his smiles and bright personality. I still would recommended this hotel to friends and family. And even if not staying at this hotel, try out their breakfast. 2. The walls of our room had marks on them. A lick of paint on the affected areas would have made a huge difference.

Friendly and helpful staff, complimentary mini bar, delicious all you can eat a la crate breakfast, spaceious room and bathroom with large tub, comfortable bed and duvet, free local cell phone which guest could brought out when visiting the city, great location near the old city center. Overall a wonderful stay.

Super modern and stylish right on the edge of old Ljubljana- perfect location for sightseeing and restaurants. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They are very genuine and give great service. Breakfast was amazing.

Hotel Cubo is fantastic for a weekend break. Great rooms and an amazing breakfast (which is included in the room rate). It’s incredibly central and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions.

Reception demanded a smart phone to download a QR code which would act as room key. I am not adept with QR codes and did not wish to pay the daily roaming charges that this would entail, eventually got my way. The bedroom was well equipped- the large shower with 3 glass walls, jutting into the room was exotic. Breakfast was structured to be fancy, but the food was only average.

I don’t really ever submit reviews but tend to rely on them heavily so I’ll give it a shot. We were looking for a place in an unfamiliar city and tend to prefer boutique hotels over chains. Hotel Cubo met and honestly exceeded our expectations . The employees were extremely friendly and accommodating - they helped us arrange transportation to various outings and secure late night food delivery. We found the room to be modern and it had a comfy king bed (the carpet was a bit worn to me but my husband said it wasn’t a big deal). The room was just fine and very clean. This place is walking distance to everything in terms of sights. One thing we absolutely loved - the breakfast, the breakfast was everything! We missed it when we left, Thanks Hotel Cubo
