great stay

The place was nice but I had booked 2 rooms several months ago and when tried to check in they told me they could see that I reserved rooms but they didn't actually give us any (they were fully booked and there was only one hotel room left in all of Dawson). A different hotel room and several hours later, they had our rooms available but refused to reimburse us for the other hotel room.

Was very affordable. The staff was very nice. Just a heads up it’s communal bathrooms and the rooms aren’t very quiet. Other than that no problems :)

The staffs are very friendly and super helpful. I had to adjust my length of stay and there were absolutely no hassles to do so. Made my visit to Dawson City very enjoyable.

If you are looking for a good clean and friendly place. This is it. Very basic but works

Bed was comfortable but did not get towel changes (and if it was because of covid, why was there sharing of showers and toilets with multiple other people when you got a basic room with no bathroom (or TV/radio) which could result in covid transmissible). Quite pricey for the most basic room I ever saw!! A rubber runner along the outside balcony would deaden the walking noise of passers by. Won't be back!!!

This was just as we had expected. An old-time feel experience from an old property. It was very clean an very minimal. A bed to sleep in and bathroom and shower facilities. We would stay there again.

One of the most comfy beds I have slept in a hotel. Fast and smooth check in. Awesome shower pressure. Friendly staff, appears recent renovations very clean.

Economical

It was a great location. Close the sky train. Right by my favorite sushi restaurant. Close to many great shops and attractions. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Small rooms, dorm style with outside access to shared (but very clean) bathrooms.

The hosts were fantastic and used every precaution during this pandemic to make me feel safe and comfortable. The rooms were very Spartan but clean and since I was the only one there, the shared bathrooms were no issue. And even if there had been other people sharing bathrooms they were lots of showers lots of sinks and lots of toilet. Highly recommend this place

Great little bunkhouse! No frills, but the staff was great and rooms and shared spaces (bathrooms and showers) were beyond clean. Stayed over Labor Day weekend for a softball tournament with friends. We’ll be back!

Great rustic place,clean and comfortable. Sharing a bathroom wasn't bad.

Small bunkhouse style rooms but adequate for our needs. Shared bathrooms were clean and never busy.

Bunkhouse is a true budget hotel, very small rooms but clean, a little stuff due to the temperature controls, which we couldn't work out how to do ourselves. There was also limited access to potable water (perhaps the bathroom water was drinkable however no information or signage) Close proximity to town, and offers free coffee and tea in the lobby, and the coffee was actually pretty decent. Friendly staff and affordable. Perhaps install a shelf or stool in the shared bathroom facilities however to avoid 'non hanging items' getting wet.

Clean rooms...a little smaller than expected. Good if you don't have a lot of luggage. Beds were very comfortable and had duvees - nice touch! Not thrilled with sharing the bathroom with men. The bathroom was kept really clean too. Can't beat the location - its great. For our travels it was a good option.

Fabulous accommodation at the Bunkhouse, very clean, comfortable, great location for exploring town. Would absolutely recommend
