Lobby restrooms were filthy … I actually complained they were so bad. The computer system was broken for multiple hours so I couldn’t check in. I requested a toothbrush at the front desk (in person) as I forgot mine and it took someone almost 90 minutes to bring one to my room.
It was just one thing after another. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful during check in. I arrived earlier than planned and just expected bto store my luggage until check in time but they went out of there way to see if my room was available first and got me checked in in no time. The room was very clean and bright and the pillows are super comfy. The location is great too, many cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk.

What an amazing hotel in an epic location! Easy to find, easy to park. Staff were beautiful and friendly and very accommodating. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough! We will definitely be back here in the near future!

Amazing hotel, friendly welcoming team, clean and comfortable rooms with a great view and wonderful amenities. This hotel was in a fantastic location with easy access to trams, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores…..everything you need.
We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant which included a wide variety of delicious foods

No one at front entry to greet you or take your bags or direct you, or valet park. Nothing in the mini bar, fridge with milk mini only in the room. Very small bathroom and only one towel per person and no face washes. Big bath an no bath products available. Didn’t even get to test whether the bed was comfortable or not because by 1230 am and still no sleep, I couldn’t handle the fact of the excessive noise and left the room at 1 am and drove home, as the person at reception said all they could do was give earplugs not move rooms or any other support. Very disappointing. Absolutely no compensation, so after this experience would never go back to this hotel again for its price appalling.

We loved staying at the voco, a beautiful building inside and out right in the heart of Melbourne. Easy to walk to surrounding shopping centres such as emporium and Melbourne central and had the lovely hardware lane to pick from numerous restaurants just across the street. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, made us feel very welcome. Our room was lovely, the view from the deep soak bathtub was gorgeous. If I had to be very picky and find something to whinge about. We found the mattress just a fraction hard- but we are used to a luxe mattress at home, and the pillows were a bit soft for our liking but that’s personal preference. The elevators were fast to use and had a great system for keeping flow happening throughout the day. We loved our breakfast at the blacksmith! Highly recommend during your staff! Unfortunately we didn’t make it there for dinner but we knew it would’ve been good as well.

Great hidden secret. Fantastic location - nice and close to everything. Staff were amazing - Jino was my first contact and was incredibly helpful. Loved the style of the hotel. The colour palette was just gorgeous. Really enjoyed the location and it might become my preferred choice for my city staycations. Would be recommending to others.

Sam at the reception desk went above and beyond to help me. They also offer free sparkling water so I was able to fill up my Yeti water bottle everyday. Very friendly staff.

The hotel location was conveniently located near to the trams and also to Melbourne Central station for easy access to trains. It was walking distance from many food options, malls etc. The rooms were very spacious, clean and quiet too.
The staff were very helpful & friendly (Michael and team at Blacksmith Grill, Howard and team at Reception during check-in) and always made our mornings a lovely start to the day. We would gladly be back to stay here again!

The motel is the epitome of class. High ceilings, beautiful decor, state of the art facilities.
We treated ourself to the high floor room with seperate bath and oh my goodness was it way more than we expected! So spacious, clean & modern, but again, full of class and luxury finishes. The bath overlooking the city, with floor to ceiling windows was just next level amazing!
Super comfortable bed, and a well soundproofed room that you wouldn’t know you were right in the CBD! We will definitely be coming back here again
